Okay, this is not really a theory, but a call to all Lost lovers to give props to Damon Lindelof, J. J. Abrams, Jeffrey Lieber, and Cuse.
First, I know none of the writers or creators so I have no shifty motives. I’ve written theories and read theories. Often, I read a theory and say, “Man, that’s genius.” But the reality is that the creators of Lost have created a following that I don’t think has ever existed for a TV show. What other show has resulted in so much mystery and so many questions? I’m not saying there haven’t been TV shows and movies with ingenius twists and turns. But, this many?
Four seasons in and people are debating time travel, pardoxes, redemption, dark matter, biblical references, etc. Everyone has a theory. Who is Jacob? Everyone thought they knew who was in the coffin. Is Claire dead? Did Jin make it? What is the black smoke? What is Christian? I mean, I’m not even 100% convinced that he’s dead.
One thing I know about the show that is not a theory, but an absolute truth … the creators got in our heads and they deserve props. Give this theory a +1 if you agree.

Hats off to the creators of the show, but I am not going to give a cheap pop for a +1.
Dallas?
Plus 1!
Who Shot JR?
With all due respect to Dallas and many good shows in the history of TV, no show has had such a six season story arc as this show. There were some meandering, especially in season 2 and the first half of season 3; but the creators of Dallas didn’t know who shot JR or even that he was shot when the show began. And they sure didn’t see the Bobby Ewing shower scene in mind from the beginning. I give props to ABC for letting the show end. Funny thing is they wouldn’t have allowed it if Lost was still getting 20 million viewers an episode like season 1.
Hanna Montana?
Unlike trekkies, we’re obsessive, crazy people for a reason! hehe :D
Lol! My twins often say to me, “You’re just like ‘those’ Trekkie people”
Desperate Housewives?
The beauty and genius of the show is it touches people of ALL walks of life. No matter what you believe/ disbelieve it sheds light to everyone. All should say +1.
Highbrow, you’re cracking me up man. Yeah, for sure, we like LOST.
Land of the Lost?
Lost has engulfed us and cause us to breath science and mystery, and that mystery just might as well spread a little magic of the island. Oh yeah, it’s not an island, it’s a place where miracles happen. ( : -Linus
Highbrow , I love Desperate Housewives - you wouldn’t believe how many theories I have about that. The main one is that they are all robots and will actually turn out to be like the stepford wives in the end. You’ll see………..The other is that when Mary Alice Young shot herself in the beginning, she actually killed everyone, and they’ve all been in purgatory ever since. Maybe I should start a website? :)
mad props to lost. but if i ever meet the writers/producers im going to slap them.
What does ‘props’ mean……….is that american slang?
Yeah homes, you’ve got to be down with the lingo. Don’t be loco blud.
And other such cool slang.
massive respect +1
Ultimately, the person who pulled the trigger was revealed to be Kristin Shepard.
Just thought it was amusing, said fast, sound’s like Jacks Dad’s name.
“mad props” = Proper Respect.
So desperate housewives is sci-fi? I should start watching… I’ll bet in season 5 of Lost those women will pop out of the magic box and start sleeping with everyone… That is what the show is about, right? I’ve never seen it… just seen enough from the promos to know that I’m not interested in watching… but then, I’m not a chick…
highbrow - Don’t forget Project Runway- the drama, the intrigue, the plot twist, the sweaty beuatiful people.
Oh, right… that, my friend, is an amazing, thought provoking, socially relevent TV show if ever there was one! On a scale similar to Wife Swap!
The X Files.
American Idol.
Ooooh the other one is better : Dancing With The Stars, or - Strictly Come Dancing (as its known in Europe).
Yes! Dancing with the Stars! Or Strictly Come Dancing… I’m sure its just as stupid no matter where you are or what you call it…
Yes , officially I say the dancing show is silly. But, I always try not to miss it…………. :)
as brilliant as lost is, its getting far too far fetched and the ending, is inevitably going to be soo dissapointing, then we’ll all realise we’ve wasted gawd knows how many years of our life watching it!! lmao.. not that ill stop cos i wanna find out what happened!
