I have a theory regarding Christian and John both being “dead” in coffins
I found it interesting that both JOhn and Christian are in coffins and have to “GO”. In White Rabbit ( season one ) we see Jack insisting that his father, who is dead, gets on this airplane. Jack says ” He just wants this to be over, or he needs it to be over.”
Now at the end of season 4 we see Ben telling Jack that he must bring everyone ( oceanic 6) AND JOhn Locke back to the island. John Locke is dead.
Do you think that maybe Ben needs Jack to bring him to the island so that he can regain consciousness again?
I don’t know I just thought that was a weird coincidence.

Just like Christian being brought back to the island in a coffin, and it sure seems like he was resurrected, perhaps that was orchestrated as well. Its all to coincidental as you said!!!:)
I was thinking the same thing. jack is somehow needed to help ressurect theses two just like he did charlie and desmond and rose. the list goes on and on. he is like a scientific form of jesus

I think that Jack is a healer, that is why he is a doctor. he also healed his wife and made her walk. He even healed Ben. He could not heal his father or heal himself. It may be that Jack is the one who can save the island. His father and sister are hanging out with Jacob, for God’s sake. Maybe Locke is not the right one, his failed test when he was a child is proof.
That is a great point, I think Jack is a healer ” he walks among us but is not one of us” He defiently has some special powers, but It makes me so sad that he is in such a predictament now!
