If any of you caught the announcement during last night’s show that there would be two alternate endings airing on Good Morning America this morning, you probably were just as horrified as I was. Alternate endings? Absolutely not!!
Not to worry I watched them, and they were simply 2 different people that could have been in the coffin in case someone let it slip that it was John. The first person was Sawyer in the coffin, the second was Desmond. I personally don’t really know how I feel about it all… I guess the element of surprise was extremely important…

they were stupid i wuz expecting a totally different 10 minute ending, not(whos in the coffin) that wuz very misleading for abc. They said last night (see the 2 dramatic ways lost could have ended) like it wuz a total different approach, all they chNGD WUZ THE LAST seconds
Agreed. Given the rest of the episode, (and actually, much of the fourth season) the only person that made any sense to be in that coffin was Locke. Why wouldn’t anybody (but Jack) want to go to Sayid or Sawyer’s funeral?
