I noticed this a long time ago, and for some reason never thought to post on it.
I’ve attached a link to a lost commercial (picked at random), skip to the last 5 seconds of the clip, there is a clip or picture of the word Lost set against the island with water below it, if you look there is a reflection on the water from the word lost, yet it is not an identical reflection. Instead the reflection is that of skyscapers in a city-like setting. This picture is seen at the end of every Lost Episode and commercial.
This is by no means a coincidence and must mean something. What it means, i dont know.

It’s entirely possible that this is a clue… But I think its just there because the show takes place off island as well (in flash-forwards)…

Anyways back on topic I’ve been noticing the image of a city reflected on the water also and whenever i see it i jump off of the couch and madly point at the screen yelling “Theres a city in the water!!!!!” over and over again but everyone in my family just thinks I’m crazy for some reason. >.> I don’t really get it.
I think the island reflecting back from the water might have something to do with the characters acting almost completely differently now that they’re off the island.
Wait so you guys are British as in residing in Britain? I thought Lost episodes are aired in Europe long after they are in the US, so aren’t you guys ashamed of yourselves? Spoiling the events of future lost episodes?

Well i honestly havent seen anything else on this topic before, and have been a steady reader/poster of this site for atleast a year. Sincce you’re (3MAT3) the cat’s pajamas when it comes to hidden clues, how come you didnt find it in 3.5 years of watching the show, but instead, heard of it 8 months ago???
Well I have watched all Lost episodes twice, been on this site since last summer (under another username before) and I never knew nor noticed that so thanks for pointing it out. Now having said that, I think it doesn’t mean anything more than the show has events that take place in the city and on the island.
Shasty, I do not throw around the word “stupid” very often but I may have to in this case. But don’t feel inadequate because KyleMii is right on your heels in that department.
The city reflection in the water started this year (season 4) and obviously represents the fact that some of the losties will be rescued.

Again 3MTA3, you said that i was 8 months late on this one. Now you are saying its something that was just discovered this season when this season started on January 31st (less than 4 months ago). So which is it? Was this clue discovered this season, or 8 months ago? And i believe i’ve seen this clue long before season 4, i’ll look for proof on that.
