I was rewatching a season 3 episode, When Mr. Smokey kills Ecko. Something caught my eye, however, and this is what. When Mr. Smokey is killing Ecko, he thrusts him up, down. left, right, and down, as if he was annointing him with holy water. When you put holy water on yourself, you do so in this order.
This could be for any number of reasons, perhaps it copies the victims personality, or memory, still, pretty weird coincidence.
