OK. I listened to the Dark UFO podcast about the season finale spoilers, and it was stated that the person in the coffin is none other than John Locke. I was wondering how Locke’s body could end up in California. In my opinion, the only way this is possible is if Locke faced some kind of peril that required him to leave the island, despite the fact that he would do anything to stay there. It is possible, of course, that this is not true, but if it is true, then what could make Locke leave the island? The only thing I can think of is that in the future, when the Oceanic 6 are off the island, there will be a huge Volcanic eruption, where everyone on the island will be in danger. Locke might go through the portal, and try and find Jack or Kate, or one of the others to get help, and somehow he dies in the process. It is also speculated that they must take Locke back to the island, and resurrect him, as he is the chosen one. If this is true, and it might be just a hoax, but if it is, then perhaps, Hurley’s message to Jack “you’re not supposed to raise him”, might actually have been referring to raising the dead body of John Locke.
I would like to know what you all think about this, and if you made it all the way to the bottom, don’t be mad at me, I did my best to imply that this would be a spoiler.
i love spoilersssss
Luv spoilers!! This is a great theory…can’t wait to see how this all pans out even though I don’t want it to end!! Keep up the good work!! +++
I also read this spoiler on Dark UFO, but my question is how reliable are the spoilers? I Love Locke! don’t want this to be true:( but +1 and thanks for the multiple spoiler alerts lol!
its X in the coffin
these spoilers are usually really reliable.
remember last year
I love spoilers too but this one doesn’t sound right. I hope it isn’t. I want Ben in the coffin.
Noooooo! At least I have a chance of being resurected :).
Yeah, but first of all - Hurley told that to Jack who was already in good condition, so maybe a year, maybe two years earlier! I like your idea about eruption on the island, it’s new. Everyone who suspected it might be Locke in the coffin, claimed that after getting off the island he was handicapped again, hence he obviously committed suicide. Maybe it’s wrong, maybe you’re right and he was ‘saving’ the island outside. Anyway, I was really shocked hearing what guys from DarkUfo revealed. Although thinking of that after S03E22, since “Cabin Fever” I relieved that it cannot be Locke in the coffin because he became very very important. What cheers me up is that they will be trying to get him to the island back! To do that probably they will need to move the island (again?!) in the past, where Locke was still alive… Anyway, I love John and can’t bear his death!
I know I am going out on a limb here, but I think the person in the coffin is Miles. He was one of the few characters from L.A. and probably has something to do with how the 6 get off of the island. just an idea.
If Locke turns out to be in that coffin I will cry. Seriously I will cry. That man has been through soooooooooooo much in his lifetime and the only time he was ever TRULY HAPPY was on the island. If what he wanted was to stay then that is what I wanted for him. If he came back and lost use of his legs that would make it even worse. The only other time I cried was when Charlie died. I always told people if Locke ever died in this show I would be devastated and I will be. The writing about the “frozen donkey wheel” sounds kinda dumb to me. For last year’s finale there was no actual “snake in the mailbox” ya know? Maybe it is just the way the spoiler was written, but I certainly hope that the writers would write something better than this cuz they are capable of so much more. I am sure it will be an excellent episode regardless, forgive me but it just sounded “cheesy”.
Even if he is in the coffin not likes he’s really gone… to many twists. Im new so prbly less knwlgbl than most everyone, But LOCKE is a Character thats not going away till the very last episode.
