I’m not sure if this has been posted yet, but does anyone remember all the way back to season one when the psychic told Claire that her baby CANNOT be raised by another? And now in season four, we find out (thanks to the flash forwards) that Aaron is being raised by Kate (and Jack partially). I think it is pretty evident that Claire was supposed to raise the baby, not Kate (nor Jack).
What I’m thinking is that the world is coming to an end and Claire’s baby could either be Satan (the whole OMEN deal) or Jesus (the second coming). The baby becomes Satan if raised by Kate (and/or Jack), or it could be Jesus if it is raised by Claire herself.
I’m not too sure about much else, and the whole Satan/Jesus thing is simply theory. But the fact of the matter is the psychic DID tell Claire not to let anyone else raise her baby, and someone else ends up raising her baby. It means something.
(Post Script - I would also like to add that if the baby was raised on the island (by Claire), then it would be pure, and good (because the island seems to be somewhat of a paradise). And therefore would grow up to be Jesus. But if it was raised in the real world (off the island), then it would be corrupted by sin and evil, and become Satan. I don’t know, it’s just more of my thoughts.)

Well i quite like it and the idea that youre memory stretches from the depths of season 4 to the beginnings of all time, i mean lost baffles me. I think using the words like Satan and Jesus in this theory has got you your minus. But now that you pointed it out I agree Aaron will probably grow up to be bad now that hes being raised my another. +1

But in that same season 1 episode, the psychic (who may or may not be a fraud) changes his mind and tells her knows of an excellent couple in LA. Why would he change his mind? And could the LA couple he was speaking be Jack and Kate? Christian did say that Aaron was where he needed to be and that was not with Claire (though we really don’t know who Christian is for in the whole Linus/Widmore struggle over the Valenzetti equation).
I believe that the psychic knew the plane was going to crash on the island and that is why he was so adamant about her going and why he purchased the plane ticket for that flight. That is if he is truly a psychic. Obviously Claire was meant to be on that island to meet her brother jack and her father Christian. Coincidence? I think not! I’m not sure about your theory about Aaron’s destiny to be Jesus or Satan. But that’s the magic about Lost, you never know what Jacob or Christian represent yet! I just don’t really think that Lost is written so much on religion but more on science.
Lol take your whole religious spiel out of this theory and its a golden +1 but the whole Satan vs. Jesus crap just insults the writers and pisses me off.
