- Flag this theory:
I think that Jack is about to make a huge mistatake and that’s why he feels so bad in the future.
When the losties saw the helicopter and a bag was thrown away I think it was because Lappidus wanted them to know their exact position so the losties could hide away from them… And Jack thought and said “I think they want us to follow them” I think this is another mistake of Jack that would get some losties killed… Unless Sayid returs before this all happens and this theory would debunk itself…
Any feedback?…

I agree Frank was trying to tell them to stay away and Jack has got it wrong. +1
Yeah I agree that Jack is going to mess up big time soon. Good ideas that could well happen in the next episode. The finale will be Sayid arriving and then Jack getting ready to fight the freities in a simmilar way to season threes finale. (But hopefully not too similar)
Since Keamy is planning to torch the Island I think it’s more important that he is stopped rather than just avoided. Therefore I think Jack is right to take the information of knowing where they are and going finding them to be able to do something about Keamy. Simply staying away, the equivalent of burying your head in the sand, is not gonna do it!
But I don’t think it’d do any good to take everyone over there. He only needs people who can fight. It’s an error on Jack’s part.
After the S3 finale, I felt the same way. But, after seeing Jack when he first returns, at the hospital with Hurley, and with Kate at her trial, and prior to the pill popping, Jack doesn’t seem too bothered by what happened on the island. Only after being contacted by his Dad does Jack lose it. I think that has more to do with his craziness than what happened to get them off the island.
It’s a little deja vu.
Last season ended with misguided Jack chasing freighter guys with a sat phone, and here we go again. He can even say here we go again, again.
Stop blaming Jack for everything! He’s not the bad guy here.
I agree with AC; Frank was sending a distress message; he needs help! I think it will be Sayid to the rescue; Jack is still weak from his surgery.
