Maybe Jack didn’t fall from the plane at all.

I’ve been reading along for quite a while but never had anything to contribute, but here we go, this is my first theory.
When I read Andrelus’ theory about Jacob’s identity there was one thing that came to my mind. It’s the part where Andrelus wonders how Jack could have survived the fall from the plane. It does indeed seem very unlikely for a human being to survive such a fall, but I don’t really agree with Andrelus’ theory that Jack was protected somehow. What I find more plausible is that Jack might have been teleported to the island. The way he lies on the ground and his behaviour right after he gets up are very similar to Ben’s when he was teleported to the Sahara desert in “The Shape of Things to Come”. This would also explain why Jack is so far away from the other survivors. Apart from that, this could be supported by line_artist’s theory, where he mentions that Jack has been to the island before and was sent there again to lead the survivors and help them to do some important work.
There is just the inconsistency with the scenes that show Jack on the plane… I have thought about that and I came to the conclusion that this could also be explained with line_artist’s theory, that Jack “ghosted” after he was teleported to the island.
Another thing: By “teleporting” I mean being instantially transferred from A to B as well as travelling or looping through time, because after Ben was teleported, he asks the woman at the hotel reception for the date, so I assume physical and time travel go hand in hand with this procedure.
These are my thoughts on that matter. The theory is still a bit unstable, but I’m gonna think it over again, IÄm kinda in a hurry right now.
Thanks for listening.

You lost me at: “I don’t really agree with Andrelus’ theory that Jack was protected somehow. What I find more plausible is that Jack might have been teleported to the island”. What you find “more plausible”. Ha.
We have evidence that the island protects people but we have no evidence of teleportation, and you can’t just assume that that’s what’s going on. Also remember that teleporatation is very different to time travel, if that’s what you’re thinking of, but i don’t think Jack did that either.
So no to this theory, sorry.
thenotwist pointed to evidence by referencing Ben’s “trip” to Tunisia and he defined what he meant by teleporting, which I appreciated.
thanks for posting thenotwist.
I like your comparison of Jack awakening after the crash to Ben waking up in Tunisia. Goop points
