If i am going to die, i want to die knowing i ate what i liked….FOOD

— sadtobeonhere

So, in Eggtown, Mrs.Austen wanted to see “My grandson”. Sry if this as allready been written.

At that point aaron was either 2 or 3. Kate was NOT on the Island for 2 yrs and 9 mo.s (pregnet time) So why doesnt she relize that Aaron can not be, Kates baby? common sense would say, thats impossible. The airlines would of known if she was pregent when the Plane crashed. Now you wonder, what story Kate told them.

Here is what i think is going to go down. The O6 are told that they are sending the copper back to pick them up. Sawyer wanted to make sure, he wasnt stuck with Aaron, so he sends him with kate. then we all know what happens.

you have no idea how long they were back before the trial happened. Also, why would the airline know kate was preggers? If i am not very far along, and there is no chance of going into labor while mid-flight, i’m not gonna just tell the airline that i’m preggers. Also, as many flights as i’ve been on, not once have i been asked if i was pregnant.

i thought there was a 4 year difference between the island and that flashforward to the courtroom.

Clearly, they are fudging the numbers somewhat, but when five people who were thought dead miraculously reappear, and one woman is holding a baby and says its hers, who’s going to ask tons of questions about it? If Jack, Hurley, Sun, and Sayid all say it’s Kate’s, is someone going to go through the manifest, work out a timeline, figure out that Claire was pregnant on entering the airport, and then expose the lie?

No… the news will interview them and make a big deal for a few months, publicize the trial. But they aren’t going to invest all that time and energy in something that silly.

    That’s our job.

For anyone to believe that Aaron is Kates biological son, the O6 must have been rescued at least 9 months after the plane crashed. We know that this cannot be as they have only been on there for just over 2 months at the moment. Therefore the subject of time moving differently on the island to the outside world must come into play here.

Just because Kates mum said that it was “her grandson” doesn’t mean that she believes he is her biological grandchild. I dont think you should read too much into that. As for the flight asking if Kate was pregnant i imagine that would happen. Remember- Time is relative. We dont know how much time has passed when we see these flashforward’s.

Sorry- I CANT imagine that the flight would ask Kate if she was pregnant!

The timeline is all wrong here.

For Kate to have a baby with her that is obviosly at least 2-4 months old she would have had to be 9+ months pregnant when she boarded 815.

I know she’s thin but that is streching credibility a bit too far.

This assumes the crash takes place Sept-2004 and the O-6 are rescued on or about December 25, 2004

Some mention would have been made of her advanced pregnancy by the U.S. marshall or somebody involved with her arrest and transport in and from Australia.

When Ben left the island he went from 2004 (island time) to 2005 (off island time). Maybe what seemed like a couple months on the island was more like a year off the island? Then there would be enough time for Kate to crash on the island, sleep around a bit, get knocked-up, go through months of hormones and annoyingness, drop a puppy and get rescued. They weren’t really on the island all that time but as far as people off-island know, they were…

Kate was not on speaking terms with her mother for many month prior to her arrest. Most likely the last time they spoke before the crash was the day in the hospital. (at least from what i remember.) So it’s possible that Kate told her mother that Aaron was her son. Her mum has no reason to doubt that because she hadn’t seen her in a while so she could have been 9 months pregnant at the crash for all she knows.

Yeah, but how does that work with the time lag? Also, maybe she knows him to be adopted, but wants to see him anyway.

Is it possible to be pregnant and not know it?

I did a search on the internet and this question is annswered in the yahoo website and it seems that some women can be many months pregnant without them realizing it Unaware of being pregnant

So maybe it could be argued that although no one was aware of it, Kate could argue that she got pregnant months before the flight.

I stumble over Kate’s mother wanting to see “her grandson” also.

If we are supposed to believe that Emily Locke, with the cinched doo-wap waist, was at the end of her second trimester, then I guess the O6 world can believe that Kate was six to nine months pregnant when she got on the plane ???
