I am not sure of this. Maybe you can help. Have you ever seen the sun in the show?
I don’t mean Sun, Jin’s wife. I also haven’t seen the moon either. Am I wrong? if I am right why haven’t anyone in the show mentioned this? Is it normal ?
Wait…a sec. The sun’s light HAS been there but they don’t normally show a glaring picture of the sun. Also I think there hasn’t been to many night scenes on the beach lately.
It has been mentioned that no-one seems to get sunburned (Shannon did try). Someone mentioned yesterday about no rainbow. If there’s no sun then there won’t be one.
False climate and North Pole location accessed via vile vortex looking good again. +1
My guess is that it is very normal. You don’t typically film the sun because it will give an undesired effect — in fact, they often shield filming from direct sunlight.
Also flagged not a theory…
true, also has been mentioned that the light scatters funny. how about stars?
well noticed sir’ but i’m affraid ‘chuckg’ is spot on, u’d rarely get a sun or moon shot in a t.v show because of alot of glare that would be captured. so its often avoided….
are you hinting towards the idea of something covering the island though? like a shell?..or…an igloo?
i dont think something physical is covering the island, then we wouldnt have that very heavy rain that always appears when there is a chase or an exciting scene
The showers all seem ridiculously localised, artificial and stop /start unnaturally quickly. Also Dharma have been doing experiments with the weather.
And before anyone says it, Yes, I am aware that the crew are probably using a hosepipe.
Something I did notice tho, and this may well make you laugh but I watched again specifically and I am still convnced it’s right, when Locke was leading the Losties through the jungle (looking for Jacob’s hut) he says to Hurley ” Don’t worry the rain will stop in a few seconds” and it did. Vincent seemed to know at the same time as Locke!
