This is an observation i’ve made while watching lost

At rhe beginning or every episode the word “Lost” floats towards the screen then it comes into focus for only a brief second then goes out of focus again before disapearing completely off the screen.

Could this be a metaphor for the show?

Where everything seems strange and foreign and your not exactly sure whats going on then a key piece of information is revealed and it all comes into focus and then something else becomes illuminated and your back to your original state of not knowing whats going on.
