Well, Karl’s dead folks and so is Danielle!

So here it goes.
Ben has a new family with Karl and Danielle. Considering they are now dead and Alex put herself up for “adoption” at the end of 4X8, I will be the first to posit this was a set-up by Ben.
That is to say, based on the arguement of Karl foreshadowing his own death in Season 3, that if he kept trying to make hanky-panky with Alex, Ben would kill him. Well Ben did. Thats the link. Karl said it himself, but this is just theory.
Seconldy, I suppose the “man-to-man” conversation Sawyer had with Karl after he and Kate made it off Island 2, can support the foreshadowing of Karl’s death.
Well, Karl’s dead folks and so is Danielle! Ben gave orders to the Others waiting at the Temple Station to kill Karl and Danielle based on some pre-determined plan, and as alaways, Ben was one step ahead. You evil genius Ben!
Oh, and The Temple, I think based on the map Ben gave Danielle ,is another Dharma station, then again, who knows? Maybe it really is a temple and not just a name of a station. If the former is correct, then interestingly, there goes the theory that the Temple was related to the 4-toe statue.
So, we’ll have to wait and see, dang-it !!
I have no other clues save the two above to support this argument, so, basically, just starting the debate. If someone thinks of something I left out or didn’t consider, then much obliged to your anticipated comments.
Also, can’t explain why Danielle died, save that Ben thought she was crazy?
Gotta watch past episodes again to find clues!

what is your opinion on peoples theory that Alex is preggers? And that perhaps Ben had them head for the temple knowing that Karl would be killed for taininting his daughter… (who some think are not “others” but people from windmores team coming to corrupt the island and that the freighter is a “decoy”) …but that doesnt explain Danielles death…maybe he knew?! hmmm

yeah, I read the decoy theory, so I made this one instead.
I just think if there is another Freighter Team or whatever, there would have been more compelling evidence than Naomi’s comments. That would be crappy foreshadwoing by the LOST writers. Remember, this is the arts, and in story-telling, good story telling, there is always an element of forshadow. I cannot think of anything off the top o’ my head to supports a second freighter.
In my theory, I point out that Karl says it himself that Ben will kill him and Sawyer convince’s him that if Karl thinks it’s worth it (being with Alex) than take the risk and Karl did and now he’s dead. That’s forshadowing!
So I think Ben set them up, like Michael, because he’s an evil genius.
Can’t make up my mind right now on the whole Alex is pregnant theory. But I did notice how Karl was holding Alex and that would make sense, Alex literally got pregnant (what she was about to tell Karl before he got wacked) and so Ben killed him.
Why Danielle got it? Have no idea except Ben said she’s crazy.
Second freighter idea sounds ridiculous. Remember, the chopper was gone for a while from the freighter a few episodes ago, so Lapides might have dropped off a strike team…
The map that Ben provided is exactly the same map that Daniel and Charlotte had when they were going to the tempest. So it looks like Ben is setting everyone up,

I think it’s now clear that a strike team was dropped off.
What is the chance that the temple is Jacob’s Cabin? The question was posed to Ben, “Why didn’t we know about this?” And Ben also says that the Temple is just for them? Hmmm…
I don’t believe Danielle is dead. Camera angles confirm Karl is dead. But you only see Danielle drop to the ground. She is still alive. BTW, i think it is a Ben set up too.
