Case closed on the Locke’s dad mystery?

— Oceanic_JC

Pretty short theory really. It doesn’t seem a great leap of imagination that Michael can survive a car crash that would have certainly killed him and Locke’s father was involved in a car accident which he was convinced had sent him to hell (the island).

I reckon that Locke’s dad survived for the same reason as Michael. The island wanted him alive as he had a purpose to serve for the island.

Presumably he was kept in an unconscious state and transported to the island by the others.

Case closed on the Locke’s dad mystery?

very unsure what your on about here, to brief??? (btw who was the old man next to michael in the hospital ward, seemed like there was a tiny bit too much focus shown to him on camera)

Sorry Rich, just realised that I typed “Jack’s dad” instead of “Lockes dad”.

I’m referring to the mystery of how Anthony Cooper (Locke’s dad) made it to the island and am coming to the conclusion that he survived his car crash for the same reason that Michael survived his and was transported (unconscious) to the island by the ‘Others’.

But the reason Michael survived was because he had been to the Island and then returned to the mainland, and therefore the Island wouldn’t let him die,

Anthony Cooper, on the other hand, had never been to the Island when he crashed his car. He turned up there after it. Therefore his survival of the car crash had nothing to do with the Island, right?
