LOST-Theories.com

Yesterday I made about a theory, about the phenomenon on Lost I have called “spanning” and I feel it was badly recieved. This is my fault for not making it clearer and getting as all bogged down with all the technical jargon.

Someone branded it “crap” and another complained that they weren’t a scientist and only had a degree in menagment, which I’m sure is a highly skilled disipline. Never the less, as I said the confusion was all my fault for not making it simpler and so I have charged myself with the task of presenting in a such a manner that even those of us without such prestigious qualifications can understand.

So I will now use Desmonds “spanning” experiences to demonstrate how this affects a person who suffers from “spanning”.

Fig. 1: Desmonds Normal Time Line.

Desmonds past Desmonds Present Desmonds (With Penny (On the island, Future and Monks etc) in the hatch etc) (I don’t know what happens then)

Fig. 2: What happens to Desmond when he has a “spanning attack”.

So as you will note from the differences in fig.1 & fig.2 , when “spanning” a person experiences every point in their time-line simulataneously, and as I pointed out in my other theory, this is what I think is happening or will happen to Jack in the future and how he becomes Jacob.

Once again I can only apologise for the confusion caused by my previous post and hope this clarifies matters and goes some way towards making amends.

Sorry, tried to do a diagram about “spanning” to explain it better but It hasn’t come out like I meant it to, I’ll have to try again and once again, I am so sorry.

What? I think this is even more unclear. And as for the last Jacob/Jack belief… there is a very popular theory on here that you might want to read:

It would have been clear if the site had presented my diagram in the manner I set it out. As I said I am sorry and I will try again.
