Claire must be dead for the Losties stories to be consistant

The biggest clue we have is when Jack is on the Stand testifying for Kate. He says there were 8 survivors of the original crash and only 6 ended up making it.
This leaves 2 people to die. Well I am almost positive that one of those 2 people must be Claire and this is why. The manifest does not have aaron on it and im pretty sure that everyone knows that Claire is 8 months pregnant. How do they explain Aaron who is not on the list to the world? They can’t! Therefore Claire must have survived the crash only to give birth the Aaron and then die.
There is no way that Claire can still be alive on the Island because we know that she would not leave Aaron ( unless some unforescene circumstance avails, which is quite possible). Plus it makes the losties story consistant because one of the 8 who died had to be Claire, because we now have Aaron and if she died in the crash she would not have given birth.
Unless of course no one knows that Aaron is Claires baby, then my whole theory is DebunkEd!
Possible routes of Claries death could be the implant planted in her, or maybe she doesn’t have a constant since she doesn’t seem to really have a family :( poor Claire
I’m pretty sure Claire dies too for all the reasons you have listed IheartJack.
But its still possible that she lives, but the Oceanic 6 said she was one of the 8…having died after giving birth to Aaron, but she really stays on the island while the 6 are rescued.
BUT
It still brings into question the whole Kate/Aaron relationship. If the authorities believed that Aaron was Claire’s…why would they allow custody to Kate? Regardless of what Claire’s wishes may have been as to who should be the guardian…Kate was a fugitive and the US justice system would have tried to place Aaron with next of kin in Australia, and if none was available, put Aaron into foster care.
If Kate claimed Aaron was her child by birth, she would have to be pregnant when she was captured by the marshall…and if she were to give birth along the timeline we have been presented with Sun off the island…she would have to be in at least her 2nd trimester…which would mean she would be “showing”, and thus the authorities would have known.
That is of course if the cover story is that the Marshall never reported back to the States that Kate was pregnant when he captured her, even though they are (Oceanic 6) claiming she was.
All this Lost thinking is hurting my brain!
Possible, but Jack obviously lied when he testified in court, as there were not only 8 survivors….hm?
I posted this same idea as a theory a few weeks ago after I first watched Eggtown. Let me just say that people hated it (I think because we all WANT Claire to live)
My whole reasoning for her necessity of death I guess is that Claire would be stupid to give up her baby after hearing what the psychic had to say. He made it sound like Aaron would grow up to be the anti-Christ if she didn’t raise him. I decided that the only way she would part with him is if she were dead.
But then again people ARE stupid, so she may very well give him up willingly. The only way I see Claire living and giving up her child as possible is that if when the O6 leave the island, whoever is left behind is in a really dangerous living situation. Maybe they are prisoners of Ben or something like that. We know that Ben would take her child given the chance. So it is possible that she would give Aaron to Kate if the only other alternative were to allow him to be kidnapped by Ben and the Others.
I still think she dies though. Next episode is my bet. The previews say that someone will die.
i believe jin and sawyer are the other two simply because they can’t lie about jin getting sun pregnet on the island, because there is no other way, and kate would of had to say she got pregnet on the island for them to belive aron is hers, and who else would she say the father is…..hurly, i doubt it

I definitely think Claire dies. Still doesnt explain the custody issue of Kate taking Aaron, but somehow I feel that Claire is gonna die. Poor Claire. :( So she has to be one of the two “survivors that died on the island” from the story that Jack testified in court. I think Charlie is the other “survivor” because he is the only one who has had any contact with the outside world (when he talked to Penny before he drown.) So in my opinion, it has to be Charlie and Claire.
