An idea for making seaching your own post easier…

Trying to find your own post on the site to check on comments,etc, especially if posted more than a day or two ago, can be difficult.

But I have an idea. I haven’t tried it yet but let me know what you think and if this might work.

somewhere in one of your posts (and only in one) you add a nonsense word that you would never find in any real posting. Add it in the body of the post.

Something like “flabbergrub” or snotnickleflydip” You know, a nonsense word that you will remember, that will be only yours and that makes no sense otherwise.

Then when you do your search, you search for just that word. if it comes up you then just click on your username and all of your posts come up for you to see.

Does that sound like it will work? if it does, it would certainly make finding your own posts easier.

NOTE:

I just tried this and it works. I added the word in the body of the post and it came right up on the search. Seaching for my username didn’t work .

Okay now, let’s all come up with our own, unique nonsense word. scurry off, scurry off :)
