I am so confused…..”

— shoegirl927

Why is he the only one there? And when he asked Sun if anyone else was coming and she said “no” he said “good” all strange and eerie.

I think that we are all confused about the “6” even though the producers said we would know them all by now. I guess we will have to wait until next week and see if Jin does die on the island or not.

I was wondering the same thing! It’s the first time we’ve heard Hurley sound sinister, and I have NO idea why. I was afraid, actually, that he’d been sent by Ben to “dispose” of Sun or something. No idea why, and it’s certainly not believable that he’d do that! But there was definitely a purposeful sinisterness (is that a word?) in his voice. +1

I don’t know if Hurley was being sinister weird - or being awkward Hurley.

He seems to have the kindest soul of them all (so far)… and depending on what they had to do to get off of that island, Hurley might just as well not want to see any of them (maybe even their actions directly led to Jin’s death) - kinda like Jack not wanting to see Aaron). Jack was a total nutcase in his flash forward - I am not sure I’d want to see him either - Kate, well there’s just no telling what she did - Sayid is in cahoots with Benny— Hurley and Sun seem like the only two nice/sane/non-threatening ones left … who’d want those other wackos there - especially at something as special as introducing a father to his daughter.

Maybe Hurley just thought it was a good idea that the others of the Oceanic 6 didn’t go, because it would have drawn media attention.

You may be right ozzig, and that would certainly make sense. But he seemed kinda creepy from the moment Sun opened the door. I don’t think that’s just Hurley being awkward, as he’s played that before and it’s never come across as sinister. It really seems like something’s up, but I have no idea!

I certainly can’t imagine Hurley doing anything remotely evil…but maybe it would help explain why none of them should have left the island…

Maybe When Jin stayed behind, he made a deal with Hurley to make sure Sun was OK. The whole trip to the cemetery was a cover-up. If anyone thought Jin was still alive, they would know that he would show up if he could for the birth of his daughter. By going to the cemetery they would be showing anyone watching that they believed he was dead.

For a horrible few seconds I thought Hurley was pleased because he was the new man in Sun’s life and he was after some action.

Terrible misreading of the drama of the episode, that, I know. But it was a dreadful notion.

Not Hurley! Not with the lovely Sun! Cover my eyes!

Thankfully, they were just avoiding a possible media circus at the grave of Sun’s husband - so that was all right. :o)

You are not alone Angelocomet, I thought he seemed a bit creepy and I for some reason thought maybe the kid was his up until he said the baby looked like Jin. The whole interaction struck me as odd.

I didn’t think Hurley seemed sinister or weird. He just seemed glad the others weren’t coming. Possibly for the simple reason Ozzig stated, to avoid a media circus.

Do we know when this flashforwards meant to be. It could be the same time as Kate’s trial. That would explain why hurley wasn’t there to support kate.

I noticed Hurley saying “good” too. There must be some bad blood between our 6. I really don’t think he was trying to avoid a media circus.

I also felt there was some awkward tension between Hurley and Sun when she first opened the door.

To law558: Seeing as Sun just had the baby, it’s about 7 months from the current island storyline. In Kate’s trial, Aaron seems much older than 7 months into the future.
