has anyone had problems accessing this website?

I’m still sorta new here so sorry if this is not the right kind of “houskeeping” post but has anyone else had problems accessing the site.

I’ve been getting a “bad gateway” page when I’ve tried to access this site for the last two days from any of my computers.

Have others experienced this?

Yes. I couldn’t access the page at all yesterday, due to the same error, and it often happens when I’m trying to go from one thread to another and won’t let me back on to the site for a while.

I have been too. I couldnt get on it for the past two days until this afternoon. Then it messed up again when I hit ‘submit’ on a new theory after typing it for 10 minutes - bah!

The site was closed down for a couple of days. When somebody is posting a theory at the same time you are posting a comment, etc., there is a time delay on the system.

In order to avoid double posting use the arrow key to go back and try in a minute or two.

I hope that is helpful. They system has recently been changed.

    AnotherLostie23,

If you get the bad gateway when trying to submit a post, you don’t have to lose it, at least if you are using Internet Explorer. Just Hit the refresh or F5 key ,and you can still submit. It may take a few times, but it has worked for me!

I think owner operator said it would take some time to get everything back in working order and that there may be a few “hiccups” before it’s all said and done.

When it is working good it has been very fast compared to the past speed. Its definitely something to look forward to once the kinks are all worked out.

To add to katesawjack’s post, I use Firefox and the same is true - refreshing the page a few times (usually under a minute) always seems to work.
