Ben is tied to a tree and he says to Roussea, ” you have to get alex out of here….
Then he goes on to say that if she doesn’t get alex and everyone out of here that “everyone is going to die” Rousseau then slaps him for calling Alex his daughter…
Fast forward to the last episode we saw “the other woman” and remember that Danel faraday and Charolette are trying to save everyone by bringing the case at that station to a nuetral level? Did Ben plan for this gas to explode and kill everyone?
I just thought this was really interesting.. Ben is such a deciever!!!

I think it is quite possible. We are led to believe it is the people from the freighter that will do the killing, but in fact it could be Ben that would make good on that prediction in order to preserve the island. Good post.
I agree with Iheartjack and Shamballa, this is a really great theory.
The scene at the Tempest was very confusing. Were we to believe that we were within seconds of everyone on the island dying or did C & D cause the meltdown in order to neutralize it?
