George Berkeley believes in Idealism. This basically says that there is no “matter” Everything is there because we perceive it, it does not actually exist.
If you asked George Berkeley “Does a tree falling in the forest make a sound if no one is around?” He qould quickly answer, ” NO! and it doesn’t even exist!”… But if you asked him ” then are there no forests?” He would say no, because God ALWAYS perceives the forest, therefore we see God’s perception of the forest.
OKay, so how does this relate to lost? First of all the voices? they are there but there are no people! Secondly, Jacobs cabin seems to travel around the island, could Jacob be a tpe of “god” and he preceives where he wants his house, or are hurley and Locke perceiving where they want his house? PLus there is always something disappearing and reappearing and the like. I mean what about that crazy horse in the middle of the freaking jungle!!!
I think this show has finally drove me mad.. im sorry this theory sucks

I think I see where you are wanting to go with your idea, and you are almost there. It may require delving into the realms of consciousness and the planes of existence, if you are willing to accept any of those notions.

IheartJack, +1 Boy you really started out great! A little shaky at the end, I would suggest Dab’s advice and expand on your theory. It’s good.
I believe that obviously there is an unseen force guiding these weird thing like Kates horse (doesn’t Kates and the police hit a horse and she escapes?) Then theres the boar that sawyer cannot get but hears the whispers “i’ll be back around” that was what the man (wrong man) said after sawyer shot him. (both from season 2) There are so many of these I can’t count. However I truley believe the whispers are people who are travelling between times, the others,when they go from one place or one time to another and can manipulate the pasts of others because they can! I know this is vague so sorry but I do think somehow this can tie into your theory?
So, your theory didn’t exist until it had been ‘hit’? Hmmm…fascinating….
