strange bugs paralyzed two people. Locke could pull the exact same stunt.

This is my first theory here and I hope to post more in the future. I like quick to-the-point theories, so this one is exactly that. Locke is not truly dead but merely paralyzed from head to toe. If this has been mentioned before, I apologize.
In Season 3, we saw a random-seeming episode in which strange bugs paralyzed two people on the island. The Lostees took them as dead. Locke could pull the exact same stunt. We know that he needed something to convince the Oceanic 6 to return. “Committing suicide” would be just the thing. He faked his death to convince them to return. Juliet could help him put his plan into action, being the doctor of the island, and would make sure that he would not be permanently harmed. She may also have experience with the bugs, having been an other. This story strikingly resembles Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”. Strange that the characters share the same name, no? We know that names are important in Lost and Juliet is not a common name. Could Locke possibly come “back to life” when taken back to the island? Don’t tell Locke what he can’t do. “”The island is a place where miracles happen”.

Hm… Interesting, I’ll give you that. However, why would Juliet help Locke? Likewise, the spiders effect only lasts so long - and Sayid seems to have some information as to what happened (They said it “was” suicide). This would prompt me to think that perhaps Sayid killed Locke himself or knows who did. I’m pretty sure Locke died, but only to know that he’ll come “alive”, so to speak, again when he returns to the island. So I dunno if the bug thing really works out here. Decent theory, though.
Ya know i’ve always wondered what the deal was with that random ass episode with the paralyzed people who are never mentioned again i think it would be cool if we found out that the reason they put it in the show is for this all the way in season 5, maybe juliet gave him a very strong synthesized version of the poison or something.+1
Well, I’m not sure I buy it entirely, but it’s a plausible theory, so you get a +1 from me. Season 5 will say for sure, though.
The Expose episode was a mistake, by the producers. The goal was to introduce more lost characters, and expand the various story lines.
If my memory serves correctly, there was such an out cry from lost fans when the new ‘couple’ were introduced, they were quickly written out. what a shame, they would have given Ben a run for his money.
Nikki was hot, but Pablo was boring. Another episode that seems pointless is stranger IN A strange LAND but I heard Jack’s tattoo will play a big part next season. kenhildebrand: your response reminds me of the Harry Potter book where Snape kills Dumbledoor because he ask him too and it was all for the greater good in the end
You know, I’ve often thought they’d bring those spiders back too. That’d be just like the writers-bringing up little things we forget about. +1
Thanks so much for the feedback and votes. This is my very first theory and I’m very glad to see a +8 up there.
And to prove I’m a dumb troll, here is my 2nd post.
