Someone unlocks the door for sayid and desmond on the boat.
Obviously it can’t be Miles, since he’s still enjoying his grenade breakfast lol. From reading the other theories, the main contenders are Ben’s childhood friend Annie, or Michael. I honestly find it hard to believe either of them would aid sayid and des.
Annie would just be a spy for ben, why would see risk herself for two strangers. Unless ben (or possibly jacab) knows sayid or des is destined to play a key role in saving the island or something like that.
Michael is a traitor, you would think he’d stay well clear of sayid, for fear of what he’d do to him, and as far as I can remember Michael didn’t meet des, so again why would he care. Another reason I don’t think it could be michael, is the level of detail Ben knows about charlotte, I think only one of the hostile would have the training to find out that much detail about the people on the boat.
So I think either ‘the man on the boat’ is one of the hostiles (possibly Annie, though no solid prove as of yet ) or a new character we haven’t met yet.

I think its Frank Lapidus. When he gets back to the Freighter they ask him “What are you doing back?” and “Who are they?”. If he didn’t even call them to tell them he was coming back, and is willing to let them lock his own team out of the room so Des can make a phone call, and then isn’t in the room when the door needs to be unlocked, it all points to him. Perhaps Ben called him and was like “Remember how you were supposed to be here? Well now you have to come help.”
