in the bible. jacob is aaron’s great grandfather.
that would make jacob: christian’s father, jack and claires grandfather, and aaron’s great grandfather…

That’s weird - just been putting a ‘grand father theory’ together and just posted it after this one - and they are kinda similar……wow that was like a jedi moment! +1 from me!
yea lots, i dont know who jacob is for sure or what his game is, but there’s no denying the sheppard family (christian, jack, claire, aaron) is central in the destiny of the island. my real point of posting is to counter the arguement that jack or christian IS jacob. i mean, jack doesn’t believe in anything on the island and christian drank himself to death.
also, the woman that jacob marries in the bible is a woman named rachel(like juliet’s sister rachel) and rachel is incapable of having children until she one day conceives and has a child named benjamin. they aren’t complete parallels but they sure are odd.

in episode” i do” i believe it is 3.6. jack is beginning to perform surgery on ben when that guy danny who has it in for sawyer takes off to the cages to execute him. well my point is as he is walking back to the cages he says “ben just put his life in the hands of one of them, and shephard isn’t even on jacob’s list”. now i thought the list is a group of people worthy of joining their community, and if jack is his grandson, well wouldn’t he be at the top of that list???i know that that really looked like jacks dad in jacobs cabin, but i think we need to explore other reasons as to why he was there. any ideas?
