She is pregnant.

In an earlier post, I read that the credits of Eggtown read “Two year old boy”..not Aaron, or older Aaron, or 2 year old Aaron.
So…what if Kate had Sawyer’s baby hen she got off the island and simply named him Aaron.
This could be why she leaves Sawyer so abruptly…she tells him she’s not pregnant and yet leaves right after and says she’s going back to the beach. She is pregnant and knows that if she stays with Sawyer on the island that she will die because she got pregnant on the island.
If you remember Sawyer’s flashback in season1, when they show him as a little kid, he had the same very blonde hair that “Aaron” has in this most recent episode.
I’m not really sure exactly why Kate would name her son Aaron. It could be because it reminds her of the island, which would explain why Jack doesn’t want to see him, because his name reminds him of the island and everyone who was left behind.
This sounds totally stupid but i think it could have something to it.

|---|---|---|---|
| Kate | Katherine “Kate” Austen | 3.6, 1.2, 1.3, 2.9, 1.12, 1.16, 1.22, 3.15, 4.4, 4.12 | 711 |
This did cross my mind, that Kate had also called her son Aaron, and it was infact Sawyers child. It’s hard to say with the minimal information given so far. Jacks inability to see him makes this seem more possible. However, we don’t know the conditions in which they left the island, which could also explain jacks feelings towards Aaron. Only time will tell.
You could be right about that SL. it is something which I have considered. I am with Psych on that, but also feel that the reluctance Jack shows toward Aaron could be a result of finding out that he is actually his nephew, and harbours more resentment towards his father, and whatever else occurred on “the island” before he left!

excellent theory!!!!!
Oh yeah by the way I posted this yesterday!!!!
read the damn forums first
Perhaps you should of considered copyright protection beforehand?
If you listen closely to what Aaron says to Kate, he says, “Hey Mummy.” Seeing as how both Kate and Sawyer are southern types, I don’t think that he would be using Australian slang such as “Mummy”. More proof is that you hear Claire use the word “Mum” all the time.
