It is good to have the board back. I was getting worried.

I had hoped to get this theory online before the site went down and well before “The Economist” aired. Anyway, I don’t think you’re gonna like it…
In “Presumed Dead” Ben claimed that he had “A man on that boat”. Could it be that the man Ben refers to is, in fact,
wait for it…
BEN himself! Or rather the original Ben, as our Ben on the island is a bi-located copy. Could it be that everyone who comes to the island is bi-located? Remember that when a concern for bringing Naomi’s body back to the ship was brought up, Miles quickly dismissed the idea, referring to her simply as “meat”. Perhaps Miles is aware that dead Naomi is simply a copy of Naomi alive and well on the freighter.
I do not believe that the remains of Oceanic 815 located in the Sunda Trench were planted in an elaborate conspiracy, I believe that it IS there, AND it is on the island. On the other hand, in a weird parallel time line kind of a way, could the dead captain that Frank saw on the newscast have been himself? Worth discussing, but I don’t buy it.
I believe that the freighties are after Ben because he has “gone rogue”, and they are being assisted by original Ben, or they THINK he is assisting them.
FWIW - the final reveal of “The Economist” shows Sayid working for Ben. I believe that to be original Ben.

The only problem i see is that remember the orchid video; they were very adamant about those rabbits not coming in contact with each other, even by eye contact. I think if the two were to make contact, something very disastrous would occur, like the universe being destroyed or something ridiculous. Therefore, I think the same thing would happen to the Ben’s, even if they made contact by telephone or something similar. I highly doubt there is anyway around it, except for maybe by like hand written notes with no names attached; but how would they get to each other. Its a stretch in my opinion. I have a theory that I’m about to post. Please wait…
now kinda unbelieveable, but…you’ll never know!!
good theory!
btw i think the plane in de sunda trench is a copy of 815!
The more I think I know ,the more confused I am! Something that I thought seemed rather peculiar was the way Sayid was reacting about Naomi. First he looks as if he is the only one that is even still paying attention to her at all. Then when he goes to close her eyes and cover her he notices that bracelet. It seemed like he knew something ,of it to me. Then you have what appears to be a FF when he sees a similar bracelet on (can’t think of her name) the woman he killed that was working for “The Economist”. Was it a flash forward ? Or could it be that Sayid was remembering something about that bracelet Naomi was wearing from the past? These writers are GOOD!!
Actually, I do like this. I don’t discount the alternate universe ideas at all. I’m undecided about the plane wreckage, as it does seem staged due to the positioning of the plane, etc. But that could have been production error as well. Ben vs Ben would make for a very good storyline. The Ben with Sayid at the end of the episode had something odd to him I couldn’t quite say as to what. Two Bens could easily be kept apart on the freighter. And if Ben’s man on the boat is another Ben, would they necessarily have to be in cahoots? Any crossover of knowledge IF someone knew how to do it? (Ok maybe that;s a little far-fetched) Working togetheror opposing, either idea is a unique twist. No way to prove any of this though unless we do see something more to indicate replicas of people—anyone. I dislike Ben , but I’d love to see two of them!
Sorry, I don’t buy it. Why would Miles and his crew be so adamant about finding Ben on the island if another “Ben” was already on the boat? Even if there was another Ben on the boat, they would obviously know who he was and he would be locked up as a prisoner or watched very closely. Hardly sounds like the kind of person that would be Ben’s “man on the boat”.
Does anybody think that Ben’s man on the boat could be…..Micheal. If Walt is on the island still couldn’t that mean Micheal is near by.
