short clip of 5.5

Kate:”So, how have you been?” Jack:”I’m good… I shaved!” Kate:”I see that, you look good.”

Aaron, now three years old asks for juice and goes to Jack.

Kate:”Oh, sorry honey, we will get some in a bit…” Jack:”There, I think I saw some in that fridge over there.”

Kate gets up and walks over to a refridgerator that is next to a freezer chest.

Kate:”This one?”

She points to the freezer chest. Jack isn't paying attention because he is playing with Aaron and just shakes his head yes. Kate opens the freezer chest and Jack glances over at her as she does. He screams:

Jack:”No! …..The other one!”

It is too late and Kate opens the freezer. She opens it and screams. Locke's body is in the freezer. Kate shuts it slowly and goes to the fridgerator, gets a juice and turns to look at Jack.

Jack:”Sorry… we have to keep him somewhere.” Kate:”Yeah, you should probably put a lock on that.”

For those of you who have started reading, no need to read this text because it is all repeated from previous posts for the new people. Just scroll down to the link and enjoy!

Usually I don’t read people’s fake seasons, but honestly, I put so much work and time writing this that it could (in my opinion) be seriously made into tv episodes. I don’t want to toot my own horn, but I think they are damn good.

I put a LOT of time and A LOT of research into these episodes I have written so far (6 of 17). They are timed out to be a full hour long including commercials and include things like suspense before a commercial and etc. The first 5 are flashback driven, but soon enough you will see some pleasant and exciting ways of telling some back stories… including some that we have been dying to find out about.

Everything I used is very cannon to the show ie past characters, places, locations and all content from prior seasons. I added some good plot twists and character development as well. I used a lot of info from Lostpedia to incorporate some answers to past mysteries, new mysteries and forgotten/back characters. You will really enjoy it I hope.

Thank you again and here is the new and improved site:

http://scribd.com/people/view/2280199

It has all the episodes in an easy to find order. It is easy to comment, message, vote etc…I have also decided to add pictures of the characters as they come on. I find the closest actor/actress I could find that I was imagining.

Hi JW, These scripts are fantastic. I am just getting started, and I have a couple questions for you? I have actually only read the first two as of now. What inspired you to do such a massive project?

How do you time the episodes to be an hour in length? Do you Act them out in real time? + 1

  2. JWLOST Aug 17, 2008 11:16 p.m. Comment: 2

Hahahaha, I loved the fact if you asked if I acted them out. No, actually, what I do is bust out my barbie and ken dolls and put on little plays.

Haha, no, in college I took some tv writing classes, granted they were for news, I learned how you time out text with actual television time. Also, I will read through the text and time it/visualize the scenes in my head/allow time for action and etc. It isn’t that hard and by all means is NOT accurate. If these were to be made into real shows I am sure that the director and editors would have a lot of work ahead of them to ensure the 60 minute time slot. Also, I researched the average commercial break is 3:15, the credits are :50 and the typical -Previously- is :45 seconds.

What inspired me? In early July I had a lot of free time on my hands and well, I love Lost. At that time I started to create my own TV show concept, but felt I was a little rusty and I needed to practice and liven up my creativity…. I figured, what better way than to write some fictional Lost scenes… I mean, the concept of the show was there and this would let me have the opportunity to write what I would like to happen (i.e. a Cindy episode).

I sat down for about a week/2 weeks rewatched some episodes did a ton of research of the mysteries on Lostpedia…. and then the plot of the season started falling into place. Little did I know that my theories actually led to Cindy being a bad guy (but is she really?) and the whole thing kinda took on a mind of its own. I learned when you write something, you might not always like the outcome, but if it is best for the development of the storyline… then sacrifices must be made. I know how it is now for the writers to write off a character they love…. I’ve come to the realization that I’m gonna have to kill someone off later on this season who is my favorite character… and it saddens me, but it will make the story that much better.

Sorry, I started to ramble on, but you were the first to ask a personal question and the flood gates opened. I hope you like them and please, if you have any questions let me know via comment on here, our secret site (lol), in comments on the posting on scbibd or even email me here: jwhudack@gmail.com Talk to you later KSJ!

Perhaps you should recast Walt for the day-of-the-flight scenes or else edit them out. Malcolm David Kelley is rather old to be playing a 10/11 year old. I know the actual writers have had trouble with this issue as well. I’m still dying to see what happened when Walt was with the Others, but I’m not holding my breath. Still, a very creative read. Keep ‘em coming. +1

The Walt problem, yeah, I was thinking about that, but to be honest with you… even though I am trying to keep this season as real as possible… I don’t have to worry about casting Walt, lol. But, I suppose, if it came down to it, there would be a way to work around Walt in the flashbacks. For instance: only showing him from the back and having a child actor with a similar voice as younger Walt read the parts.

This is the same problem for characters like Rousseau. She quit the show… so, how the hell are the writers supposed to tell her back story? Fans don’t get too happy when they recast people because it just isn’t the same. However, Mira Furlong didn’t say she wouldn’t come back for one episode… so I’m thinking she would…. who knows. Keep reading and I hope that you love it!

Bison, one more thing… yeah, I don’t know if you should hold your breath about Walt with the others. I don’t think it will ever happen on the real show and I’m not sure I will be doing it on mine either. I’ve thought about it, but…. it is still up in the air.

Lochness, It will be up tomorrow! I am finishing up on 5.7 and it too is a bit of a surprise. I had a killer idea last night and I revamped the whole thing. Also, because of it, I need to change a few things in 5.6, but all in good time, my friend!

JW… U R the man. I love your work, Damon might be calling you soon. I have an idea about Walt, and the whole problem with his age playing into the plot. What if Damon and JJ and everyone else beat us to the punch. What if they had Malcolm Kelley shoot his future seens during season 1 or season 2? JJ has said they have had the entire plot thought out. So maybe they has Walt shoot a bunch of scenes for Season 5 and 6 a while ago. JJ is very sneaky, we have seen Cloverfield. Anyway, before I started reading JW’s story, I hadn’t read a book in 5 years. Now, I can’t wait to read. Thanks JW. Hukd Ahn JW Wurkt 4 Mi. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent! I’m like a wendigo, I’m just too hungry for more episodes. Are you planning on creating season 6? It’ll be really cool to see how you end it all but perhaps its too hard to solve everything. I hope that the real Lost will have some parallel ideas and events to your version as you’re the closest to an actual Lost writer. Thanks for your time and effort in entertaining us while we all feverishly wait for season 5.

Holy crap… I’m the one held accountable for getting people to read again! Whoa, this rush of fame is really going to my head, lol.

Seriously though, I really am glad that you guys like it. The fact that I don’t get paid for this doesn’t bother me as long as I’m actually entertaining people.

Josh, I have to say that you gave me the biggest compliment that anyone has given me towards these episodes, haha. Also, that would be pretty kick-ass if the writers did actually shoot Walt’s scenes earlier on, but somehow, I doubt it.

Lochness, I would have to safely say that as of right now, I have no plans on doing a S6. I am struggling through S5 as it is because I don’t want to go too far out there and have people start to hate what I’m writing…. you see, if I would have written the Frozen Donkey Wheel scene, I would have gotten a mass amount of people calling me an idiot and insane on here because that idea is so far out there. However, since the real writers did it, it is accepted. You see what I’m saying? There is a certain amount of limitations that I have without people saying I’m a hack, but I do plan on doing some pretty out there stuff… so don’t worry.

JW, you should add in Caeser and Illana in future epsidoes as they’ll be in the real season 5. Don’t worry, whatever ideas you write, it will never be too insane for me as I am Nessie and you know how crazy that idea is. Maybe I’ll change my name to Cool J.

  16. JWLOST Aug 19, 2008 8:25 p.m. Comment: 16

Maybe Nessy Cool J? Haha, well, listen up, I already have done so… you will be seeing Caeser soon enough!
