04/23 - In the April 24 episode, Ben leads the resistance against the freighter fiends working for cranky billionaire Charles Widmore, while in his flash-forward adventure, he does battle in the Tunisian desert and spies on a funeral in Iraq. Source: TV Guide 04/23 - The invasion of the island commences. In the first 15 minutes 3 characters are killed (minor ones). Later in the episode some one is shot in the head execution style, but it’s not who you think if you’ve seen any promos. This character is a major one. Source: Lost Spoilers 04/23 - [Michael] Emerson [reveals] during a brief respite from shooting Lost’s first episode since the writers’ strike interrupted production last November[:] “I thought we would ease into things. Instead, I get this all-Ben extravaganza: combat, riding horses, foreign languages. Unfortunately, all this post does is make me drool more for tomorrow’s episode. I guess according to the latest video podcast (and obviously this post) 4x9 is gonna be a HUGE episode! And well deserved after this hiatus crap that they put us through. We are OWED!! Haha.
So they start focusing on Claire a little more, which enhances my theory - she is gonna die right before rescue. I just have it in my gut.

i dont think claire is going to die..i think her fate will be like jin’s and all the other 815ers that can’t leave the island……..
notice in the flashforwards, jack, hurley, and so on never want to go back and rescue their friends. they can’t. but i think they will join them on the island if they can ever get back……..holla

Claire is definitely going to die. She has to die. She doesnt have anything much to contribute to the show now that Charlie is gone. In fact, she never did contribute much - except for the fact that she gave birth to Aaron. And we know he ends up with Kate, so…
Sorry, but I really do think she dies. Sad to say, she is my favorite girl on the island. And Charlie was my favorite guy. Sad to see them both go…

This is my first post. I just had a thought when reading this, as everybody seems to think that claire is going to die, perhaps its Jack that kills her, or fails to save her, or makes a descison that gets her killed. Thats why he cant face Aaron, when Kate invites him back after the court case. Any thoughts?
If Jack feels responsible it is because he called the freighter.

Chuck I hope that you do get flamed as you have raised a very good point. This post could be enhanced by providing a summary of the main spoilers or showing why these spoilers are important new evidence to support or refute a Lost theory. Cutting and pasting is a bit redundant as a link to the original is probably better and the lack of formatting as mentioned by Mosh also detracts from it.
So hopefully these comments will be helpful to all of us on here and not just to HiMom, who was obviously excited about some of the information in the spoilers.
