It’s all a computer game!

I don’t know if somebody has already put this theory across already. I have only watched one season but it certainly has some kind of Matrix element to me. It seems to me this maybe an alternative reality created by a computer for people to go to play out their fantasies.
All the characters have a part they want to be. For example Jack was always ashamed of himself as he was no hero/leader. Yet on the island he has become the leader and hero. Then you have Locke who couldn’t walk prior to the crash and wanted to be a hunter/man of the jungle and now he is. Sawyer wants to be the bad man on the island. Jin and Sun - marriage crisis anyone? What better way to sort it out and get to know each other again? It would explain why Jack sees his father and all this other weird stuff that doesn’t make any sense. Plus they should all be dead anyway or at least very injured after the crash. I’m no going to go mad on this as I don’t want to bore people but let me know what you think.

Watch the other seasons. You’ll come to the conclusion that the answer to your theory of ‘Is it all a game?’ is a very definite ‘No’.
