I’ve come up with a map listing the stations of the Dharma Initiative, including where I believe the Tempest, and Temple are located by looking at the maps in-show. I found the pre-made island template on Google Images by the way.
Here’s the link. It includes The Swan, The Staff, The Arrow, The Pearl, The Temple, The Tempest, The Barracks, The Flame, The Looking Glass, The Hydra and The Door. I didn’t include The Orchid as we haven’t seen a logo or a location as yet. So here’s the map.

I would consider moving the Staff Station to the right-hand side of the mountain range. Claire, Kate and Rousseau journeyed there in the space of a day (in Maternity Leave), and only ever walked through jungle - they never had to climb over a mountain range.
And I don’t think The Hydra was South, I think it was North. (Similarly, I would position The Door much further North.)
And do you have The Temple as being South-West? Personally, that looks way too close to The Swan and the beach-camp. Given The Others set off hiking to it in a different direction to the way Jack, Sayid, etc came back from The Barracks, I would also put that in the North (probably North West).

Why noy use the most up to date version?????
Joe I noticed that you seem to have posted this before on another site:

AND I noticed that you also posted some of this theory on the official site

and big chunks of this

Man you sure get around
Stitch
lol Stitch - saw this and your other comments for Joe… Like a bloodhound, man! Relentless and efficient. Impressive stuff.
i think the “Temple” may be the Orchid….
I’m with AC on the Hydra Station location probably being North and it seems like the Pala Ferry site should be closer to Othersville probably situated between there and the Hydra.
good job guys. It really helps to see the island mapped out. I agree with AC and Sham’s suggestions about placement. +1 for mapping out the island.
I agree Orchid = Temple (or if not the exact same facility, they are located in the same place where a powerful electromagnetic/spiritual force eminates from)
I dont agree. I believe the Temple is something that pre-dates the Dharma’s inhabitants, that is linked to the four-toed statue. It has that kind of feeling about it. And i dont see how a Dharma station related to (theorectically) time travel would be in any way thought of as a temple.
I’m still 50:50, but…
TEMPLE - TEMPS - TIME?
Midnight, you misunderstood me completely. I think there is a source of power located at a point in the island. The islands original inhabitants (those associated with the 4-toed statue) built a temple at this spot. People build temples in places they perceive to be sources of power. Many years later, the Dharma initiative also perceived that this particular spot was a source of power (especially since a temple had been built there) and built a Dharma station at the same location. Two distinct groups, who observed the same phenomenon at different points in time both decided to build a facility at the same location.
Joe, I don’t understand why you cropped out the url of the blog address of the maps creator, http://lostmap.blogspot.com/. If Losty Smurf is generous enough to provide a Lost map template, the least you could do is give him credit for the map template, regardless of how you use it.
