I’ve absolutely nothing to back this one up with but thought I’d mention it incase it turn’s out to be true!

I was just thinking what if Henry Gale turned out to be Walt’s real father?

I was just wondering who the real Henry Gale is and how he fit’s into the plot when I thought that he might be Walt’s real dad (yes, just because he’s black)

For some reason the incident were Miss Klugh ask’s Michael if he is Walt’s biological father, keep’s poppin back into my head as well.

As I say I’ve got nufin to back it up with, but if anyone’s got any good Henry Gale theories let me know

Don’t change do you leko? I am not a racist I was simply saying that because if I didn’t it would no doubt have been your response.

  4. lockeko Sep 4, 2007 3:12 p.m. Comment: 4

    whatever, it was racist

  5. dabiatchishere Sep 4, 2007 3:15 p.m. Comment: 5

Okay, laddies! Let’s not fight! I never thought of Henry Gale being Walt’s father, but I have wondered if Walt could have been part of “The Life Extension Project”. Perhaps, biologically, someone other than Michael was the donor!

  6. TheThinker Sep 4, 2007 3:17 p.m. Comment: 6

Cant we all just get along? :)

Greetings all. :) I had to take a little hiatus to handle some things, but Im back now.

Now, this theory… im confused…I thought ben was henry gale, and hes white…how would that make him walts dad?

Lockeko: good to see you! glad to see you keeping the comments heated… :)

  7. CrazyPolarBear Sep 4, 2007 3:32 p.m. Comment: 7

Leko, get a grip mate, exactly how is what I said offensive to black people?

Thinker - Ben was impersonating Henry Gale, the real Henry Gale was a black guy who crashed on the island in a hot-air balloon who Ben killed and then impersonated.

Hey Leko, just thought Ben killed Henry Gale so is he a racist?

  8. Occam Sep 4, 2007 3:33 p.m. Comment: 8

TheThinker: But surely you know Sayid found the real Henry Gale drivers license, right? And how they unmask Ben, because the real Henry Gale was black? O_O

  9. CrazyPolarBear Sep 4, 2007 3:35 p.m. Comment: 9

Hey, while we’re on the the subject, the script writers thought of that plot line so they must be racist too! Sort em out Leko!

  10. TheThinker Sep 4, 2007 3:39 p.m. Comment: 10

I Stand corrected…I was asking, because I forgot that little tidbit….thanks for clarifying.

  11. lockeko Sep 4, 2007 3:45 p.m. Comment: 11

cpb, I didn’t mean you were racist, I meant your remark, “I was just wondering who the real Henry Gale is and how he fit’s into the plot when I thought that he might be Walt’s real dad (yes, just because he’s black)” was racist. you based an entire theory on the fact that henry gale is black. whether or not its true making a decision solely on the basis of race is racist. thats all I was saying

  12. CrazyPolarBear Sep 4, 2007 3:56 p.m. Comment: 12

Actually I made it on the basis that Henry Gale is a major is piece of the puzzle and we don’t know how yet and that Ben killed him for a reason. I made the’ just because his black’ remark as I have seen similar theories re Miss Klugh etc being connected to other black characters met with comments in the vein of ‘oh just because she’s black you assume….’ etc and I merely said that in anticipation of such comments. Apology accepted Leko!

  13. lockeko Sep 4, 2007 4:01 p.m. Comment: 13

I wasn’t apologizing and the remark was racist. I am however very interested in Henry’s story. I wonder if he is connected to any of the losties.

  14. JediRedeye Sep 4, 2007 4:02 p.m. Comment: 14

I don’t think Henry Gale is Walt’s father, but Ms Klugh asking Michael if he is his biological father did strike me as odd as well. However this is LOST and it really wouldn’t surprise me if he was. The writers are good like that. Like Claire being Jack’s half-sister, I didn’t really see that coming until the nurse told Clarie that there was a new doctor in with her mother, an “American” doctor. At that point it all fell together. So if Claire can be Jack’s half-sister then I guess that Henry Gale could be Walt’s father. I think Henry Gale’s deal is, he’s is one of the many people drawn into the Widmore Corps little web. Just like Desmond, I think Henry Gale was being tracked by Widmore in yet another attempt to find the Island. I also Believe that the Looking Glass’ jamming device has blocked all signals from any of the GPS or tracking devices, installed or hidden in them. What also makes me believe that Henry is from Widmore is that his neck was broken, according to Sayid. That makes me believe that Henry was a threat to the Others and therefore they killed him. Why would they kill just one man? Why wouldn’t they integrate him into their society, or just imprison him? There is no logical reason why Ben would have Henry killed unless he was a threat. That is the only time we have seen Ben be lethal is when there is a direct threat to them. If there is no threat to them he just plays his little “BEN-ipulation” games with them. (Stip shout out. Great term man, you should trademark that and get PAID!)

sorry about the sidetrack. Anyway thats what I think about Henry Gale. Is he Walt’s father or not I don’t know maybe, but then why is he writing to Jenny instead of Susan. With that I still say he is not Walt’s father but a pawn of Widmore which in turn makes him a threat to Ben and he has him killed.

As I said before you don’t change do you Leko? Tell me again how it’s racist, is your full name Leko Luther-King, by the way?

JRedeye I think your idea is probably most likely, the whole Walt paternity idea just popped into my head though in thought I’d put it out there!

CPB: I would have to correct you there! Locko is one of the best people I know on this website. Any words, directed at him, by me are only meant with the truest affection.

  21. lockeko Sep 4, 2007 4:33 p.m. Comment: 21

Dab, thanks, it has been a little crazy in here today.

CPB, you’re right, I am nuttier than fruitcake. But I stand by my comment. You made up an entire theory with the only evidence in support of your theory being that Henry Gale is black. Again, read slowly this time maybe it will sink in, making assumptions based solely on race is racist.

Next you ask me if my full name is “Lockeko Luther King” I suppose you think thats funny. It’s not. Martin Luther King was one of the most forward thinking individuals in the history of the human race. And yes, I believe in the things he stood for. So while it may be all fun and games to you, it’s not to me. Discrimination is real and it hurts innocent people everyday. So while maybe you didn’t mean to make a racist comment, you did. And it wasn’t funny, and it shouldn’t have been said.

And while I may not be the only one into law as you put it, I certainly encouage you and anyone else to study law and make yourself aware of the freedoms we possess and the true cost of those freedoms. I’ll not say anything further on the subject, I think your theory and your comment speak for themselves. Good day.

I am a little concerned, someone please help…………….. I have a fiend who is black and he has 2 boys, he loves them a devotes his whole life to there welfare. I am worried that there is now a potential that Henry Gale may also be there biological father because like Henry Gale there skin is black.

  42. mrssawyer Sep 5, 2007 3:16 a.m. Comment: 42

    What is going on here?

I didn’t think CPB was being intentionally racist at all. I think he just phrased things very badly and his explanation shows what he meant to say. Just my opinion though.

I propose that Leko and CPB engage in a bare knuckle fighting contest to the death ahem okay perhaps not to the death but so this issue gets resolved and we can go back to more peaceful times.

All we are saying, is give peace a chance……………..

  43. xiv Sep 5, 2007 3:48 a.m. Comment: 43

What about Klugh being Walt’s mother? :)

  44. lostintennessee Sep 5, 2007 4:17 a.m. Comment: 44

Lol mrssawyer! xvi, i doubt Klugh is his real mother, if she were, there would have been no need to ask Micheal all those questions. And I also don’t believe that Henry Gale was his Father, but I do think we will find out more about Mr. Henry Gale, I also believe we may even see his wife Jennifer at sometime, maybe on the Island somehow, looking for him perhaps, just a thought. I think Walt’s parents are the ones we already know as his parents, and I also think we may see his real mother again, I’m not convinced she is even dead, but a part of a plan to put Walt & his father back together & get them on the Island, maybe she has something to do with it, again just a thought! But, I cant wait to find out more about Walt & his family, he is one of the most mysterious persons on the show.
