Also thinking about it I want to answer the question posed in your title. What has happened to this site?
Well the way I see it, what has happened is that some people have formed friendships and enjoy the opportunity to chat on a seperate thread. Those threads are always flagged and moved out of the main section quickly and more importantly they are pretty inclusive. If someone wanted to come and talk nonsense they would be more than welcome.

CPB: I simply don’t see the point of your post or your shots at lockeko. Good theories get a lot of comments and a lot of votes on this site. So why the negative turn?
annie, cpb’s shots at me were over my comments about the theory. It doesn’t bother me, and when crap is posted I will comment, its what I do. shake and bake
