Hi all, I have been reading every single theory since June & I have hardly contributed anything, but thats only because the cerebral heavyweights on this site are so damn good!!
The following questions have been and still are bugging me, even having read every theory going here, so if anyone can inject anything new I’d be very grateful…..Kat….Prof O & Jazprof please honour me with answers! and everyone else of course!
a) What was Mikhail about to say to John, as they arrived at the sonic fence when Rousseau interrupted him?
b)What is the deeper (if any) significance to Locke’s statement to Ben, about ‘not keeping meat in the refridgerator if he knew what the Island really was? (i know Jacob doesn’t like technology but I feel it’s deeper than that)
c) the good vibrations code & a musician programming it…..is there a deep significance?
and finally….
d) is there a connection between Dr candle, wickman & HaliWAX in terms of they are all candle parts?

there has been a lot of dicussion about the Candle question, and some on the other questions. like you, I think the rest of us think the events are significant but aren’t sure exactly how stuff will play out yet
ok cheerz lockeko, I wonder if he’ll use other names in season 4 like Marvin Chandler or Dr Lightman and if so perhaps he should have use Dr Edgar TALLOW-WAX in the ochid vid.
What I think:
a) He was about to say the John Locke he knew was paralysed.
b) Not sure don’t think we have enough info about the island but it’s been hinted right back from s1 that Locke has a alot more info about the island than most do.
c) Maybe the time-loop theory was correct, or possibly even Charlie’s brother has been to the island and he programmed it, I think that would make for a good coincidence.
d) Don’t know why they use the candle part’s as aliases, but I believe they are all the same person and none of those are his real name.
CPB , I like your answer to (c), about Charlies brother, that would indeed be a good coincidence & would be right up this shows street.
Regards (a), I’ve played it over & over and I thought the word he got cut off from began with a ‘B’ but now you’ve said that (& bearing in mind he’s Ruski) perhaps it was a ‘P’ after all.

Yeah, I don’t have much to add beyond what kat and others have said. There are just some things the show doesn’t give us many clues about.

I have felt a bit like Jacob these last 2 months…sitting in the background, no one able to hear or see me and then I come on today saying “HELP meeeeeeeeeeeee!”

Ben truly is a Pharisee isn’t he, all self righteous and looking down on others & making statements like “Even God can’t see us here” Cheers you’ve given me food for thought. Before I enter the cabin again for about another 2 months ;-) I’d like to say, it’s good to see the old faves still on here and you two are still producing the good goods! Keep up the good work. Actually… did John say to anyone he was paralysed before? I mean, if I was paralyzed and I can walk again, i’ll be like Eddy Murphy in “Trading Places”!

Prof O & Kat cheerz……straightjackets LOL!! :-) Well if it’s the round table then you two are definately King Arthur and Lady Guinevere, I’m more the court jester! & yes you do post more than others but it’s quantity brimming over with quality & all your theories are well thought out, meticulously written & sometimes I have to read them over to absorb it all! standby………solar is actually going to put something on today!!! (regards the cancer stuff)…..don’t have a collective heart attack! or swoon with shock!! I’m preparing it right now so keep an eye & would love it you would comment on it later!
& xiv I think he never actually told anyone he was paralysed but after killing Cooper, Sawyer did ask if what Cooper had said was true “about you being a cripple an all” & Locke hesitated, then said “Not any more” Cheers for all your posts.
Hello again Solar. I eko other’s sentiments that we wish we would see more of you and your positive energy.
A thought struck me about Dr.Candle and his various names. To me, simple is the best. It could be that he is a metaphor for light - as in illumination - knowledge, clarification, guidance - and nothing more.
The keypad programmed by a musician: I believe Charlie’s handler or fatebender saw to that so that Charlie would be able to save the day. It probably was his brother. We have seen several instances where the Losties are receiving guidance from people who were influential in their lives - it is too odd of a coincidence to be dismissed.
Cheerz stip, all this positive enthusiam has helped me spur on my first real half theory (well quarter perhaps!) I’m about to post…….
