- Flag this theory:
In the pilot episode Cindy the flight attendant gives Jack two bottles of liquor. He drinks one and puts the other in his pocket. He later states that he blacked out before the crash. I think Jack had to be sedated just like Juliette was before landing on the island, but why I don’t know.
I’m new here just trying it out. I think alot of answer can be found in the pilot episode.

That would suggest that both bottles had to be drugged (because Cindy could not guarantee which one he would drink). He used, with Kate’s assistance, the second bottle on his open, bloodied back-wound without feeling any effects.
And besides, why just Jack? What about the rest of the passengers? Kate has stated she was conscious, for one thing, and she almost certainly wasn’t the only one.
sorry but I dont think Cindy drugged Jack at all, usually when such horrific things happen (plane crashing, car crashing), people just tend to black out.
this theory has been said b 4, just recenctly
I think jack blacked out because he was very scared. just after the turbulence started as he tried to comfort rose his voice was very shaky. his mind couldnt handle the trauma so it shut down
Sorry, but this is just stupid.
Cindy knew, then, that the plane was going to fall from 30,000 or more feet? And she volunteered? How stupid is she?
Oh, and then she’s passing out sedatives? Why? Did she think Jack was going to escape from the plane if he knew it was going to crash? Why ONLY Jack?
Okay, the plan is to get 40-odd people onto an island. And the brilliant plan is to drop them from 30,000 feet in a flaming tube of jagged metal?
This is not a theory. This is a six pack and an availabel computer.
Plus one, because I’m on anti-troll duty today.
You call other people stupid Quarantine? Your on anti -troll duty? You are a troll by all definition. You make rude and negative remarks in every theory.
quarantine, while I understand your sentiment, perhaps it would have more effect if you spelled words like “available” correctly.
I’m afraid I have to agree with the majority of the comments that it seems unlikely that Jack was drugged. however, Dave, welcome to the site. A great thing for newbies who are serious about contributing to this site to do is to spend a little time reading the old theories and seeing what other members have already said. Anything by Jazprof, Katrinicity, Hexagon, and Mrssawyer are great theories to start with. Also, click on the highest rated tab to see some really wonderful stuff. Happy posting.
lockeko: You’re right. My typo definitely made my comment wrong. BTW, your comment would have better effect if you capitalized the initial words of sentences.
DAVE: Perhaps I was harsh. Follow Lockeko’s advice about reading the older stuff and seeing where we stand.
stealthfighter: Sorry if I offended your tender sensibilities. I work in a profession where keen logic and ruthless reasoning is everything, and people have to have a thick skin. I sometimes forget to tone it down for these more casual online chats. You are obviously upset. I’m sorry your feelings got hurt.
Stealthfighter: One more thing. I did not call the poster stupid. I called the theory stupid. Rude, I realize (and apologize for), but there is an important difference. This is why good reading skills are important.
And, by the way, when you wrote “Your stupid….” I think you meant “You’re stupid.” Without the apostrophe indicates a possessive, e.g. “your theory,” or “your banana.” With the apostrophe is a shortened form of “you are.”
I hope you find this positive and helpful. ;-)
Stupid is as stupid does. You ought to know. Don’t use the source of your employment as an excuse for being a dick.
Cindy couldn’t have drugged Jack unless she drugged everyone else too, and theres nothing to show that happening . Even a little booze at a high altitude can affect more than normal.
There’s some kind of saying about pots and kettles if only I could remember what it was.
Stealthfighter: Now you hurt MY feelings.
Q - go take some classes at the “Lockeko School of Tact”, because he’s giving lessons.
I really thought I was leaving this site for good, but sometimes a person just has to say what they have to say.
People are missing (or choosing to ignore) the point. So, stealthfighter attacked Quarantine, because Quarantine is so mean., and calls Quarantine a troll.
First of all, Quarantine is just one of those people who says out loud what he thinks, in the real world what would be called brutally honest. From subsequent postings, it appears that he just didn’t realize that his flippant remarks could be perceived as mean or would hurt the feelings of others, and has been making efforts to improve. And yes, a persons line of work can be a valid reason for this Type A personality characteristic. But the big point of this is that there is no evidence whatsoever that Quarantine is a troll.
Neither am I, or Billinsandiego, or others that stealthfighter has attacked. Stealthfighter is pretending to be some sort of hero that goes after trolls, retreiving lines about razor blades in sandboxes from some old comic book or the likes. He is not a troll fighter, but a closet bully using this new ID indiscriminately any time he doesn’t like someone or what they’ve said. Or more likely, just because he can, probably much like the wedgies he gave to smaller boys and girls in school.
Sure, personality clashes and misunderstandings occur, but this is not the same thing as two site members having a disagreement or getting into it. These are sneak attacks by a regular site member hiding behind another ID. And everyone is just letting it happen for their own reasons. For some, afraid of being next? For others, protecting a friend?
Regardless of the reason, the fact remains that by ignoring stealthfighter when he attacks others, people are condoning and supporting his behavior. His trollish behavior. And most of you, don’t kid yourselves into thinking you won’t be next. All it takes is one slip, one politically incorrect word, one unpopular opinion, one negative comment about a theory, or defending someone he doesn’t like.
So I would suggest that people who are sitting there ok with the idea that he attacked Quarantine think about that. Maybe he won’t attack you personally, maybe it will just be another site member you like, or someone you don’t know well , or another newbie. Does that really make it OK? Personally, I just have a problem with a mega-troll going around attacking people and calling them trolls when they aren’t. Regardless of their personality type.
I agree with Ozzig. Note the use of capital letters.
Jesus Christ on a hover-craft! Do I have to explain everything around here? It is very obvious to me that Stealthfighter is NOT a regular - hes Forrest Gump.
Katydid: I signed up and paid the money. I was told classes will begin as soon as I pull my negative rude troll head out of my ass. I’m thinking I just wasted $1000.
Q: You’re obviously intelligent and see humor in many places, and sarcasm is an excellent mode of humor, but you often cross the line with it to the point of insulting people. As in, everyone you address, and then some. In fact, you insulted me in one of your comments to someone else, and I wasn’t even there. Is that truly you’re intent? I don’t think it is, but if so, that’s a shame. Your down to earth logic could be an excellent discussion tool on the theory boards, if you could just leave your job behind.
TB: Thank you for that clarification, I don’t know how I missed it. Now that I know who stealthfly really is, it clears up a lot of mystery re: his behavior. Evidently that wasn’t a sandbox he was playing in, and those weren’t chocolates, and as for finding out what he was going to get, all indications suggest worrms. Explains the fidgetiness, mood swings, etc.
lockeko: While normally a man of few words can be appealing in their own way, occasionally it’s nice to hear more than an ambiguous statement. Women like details, have you forgotten this basic rule?
I sent jcroft an e-mail some time ago, explaining why I was leaving the site.. Unfortunately, the site is addicting, the theories are good, and there are actually people on the site I enjoyed communicating with. Then a friend reminded me that I’m the oldest active member on the site (or at least, the oldest one with the same original name). So I changed my mind. No fly and co. is going to annoy me off the site.
Q: I’ve since seen your latest comments on other posts and am very glad that sf was wrong about you.
Q: First rule of tact school is don’t talk about tact school. Second rule is don’t call a theory stupid, show how its stupid. For a great example of this find theothers theory about the four toed statute and comments there to. Thats all for today.
Q: here is the link to the theory:
