…He very closely resembles Alvar Hanso. I was looking at these screen shots that were done of Jacob and they’re all from a side-view perspective, yet I thought “where have I seen this man before?” Oh yea! In that orientation film on some website written by some chick who left clues in Apollo Bar wrappers or something. AKA The Lost Experience.
I have no idea if I’m right or wrong about this, nor do I care, its merely a personal observation.

Molly, good eye, but from what I understand the Jacob we saw was just a crew member and the voice was Cuse’s. I don’t know if Jacob has been cast yet, or will be. Maybe someone else knows.

I think Jacob is really Ethan Rom. You suggested that Amelia Earhart was an anagram, well so is Ethan Rom. More Than. As in “more than meets the eye”, which is part of the Transformers’ theme song. So Ethan transformed into Jacob and then he shot lasers around the room to move all the objects and make it look like he had psychic powers, when really he’s just an Autobot…or perhaps, A decepticon!!!!!!!!!! DUN DUN duuuuuh!!!!!!!
He’s stuck on an isolated island, apparently bounded by some magical circle around his house, afraid of technology, and has only Ben for company, and you think looking like Hanso is his problem?
And that’s a plus one, for not being a, well, you know.

AA Ehtan Rom is also an anagram of ‘Other Man’ so is he ‘More than Other Man’ or just Other Man, as in a man thats an Other
If he was supposed to be “more than other man” wouldn’t his anagramed name be something like “Ant Horn Hammertoe,” “Norm Torah Methane” or “Earthen Math Moron?”
