radiotower, I think the writer’s strike is much bigger than one show, even if it is our favorite show. It affects daytime, primetime and movie writers.

My understanding is that 8 episodes have been filmed and are ready to go. Several more have been written, but cannot be shot without the writers on hand to do re-writes.

Also, just because there is a strike, doesn’t necessarily mean Cane will be cancelled. So what would the motivation be?

I’m not a fan of Cane, actually stopped watching it and would love to see Nestor back on Lost. But I don’t think your point is valid. The writer’s strike is a much bigger issue.

annie, i know the strike is a much bigger than show and i was not trying to convey the notion that the basis of the strike was mainly around lost. according to darkufo and the interview i referenced 7 have been filmed but 8 have been scripted which allows them to film that 8th episode, “The scribes said they spent much of the weekend putting the finishing touches on episode eight of “Lost,” submitting the script to the network on Friday and tweaking it over the weekend. We finished writing by mid-afternoon yesterday,” said Cuse, who noted the script was ready to be shot.”

also i was not saying Cane would be cancelled, but i was unsure if they had all of their scrpits completed at this point, which would allow them not to film. which led to the basis of my question, with lost having one more episode to film, would he be able to make an appereance if this was the case. again i am unfamiliar with the allowances of actors in situations like this.

Radiotower it would be good if they could bring back the Alpert as we need to learn more about him definitely! I don’t know much about the strike as I’m on the wrong side of the atlantic here but I hope they sort it out!

I don’t think its likely that the strike would allow Richard to come back. From what I understand issues that prevent Nestor from reprising his role on Lost has to do with CBS not being willing to let him out of the “exclusive” clause in his contract. I don’t see this going away even if he is not currently filming “Cane” because of the writers strike.

I don’t feel good about any of this. As many of you probably know, TK admittedly was a troll, but he always denied being THE troll. And as many of you probably know from previous threads, I don’t think he is that one. I think THE one is lurking around letting TK take the blame. Stealthfighter: No people are not dumb, and I see you through you JUST FINE. As a female, I have most definitely wanted caught the person who was doing all those postings, the real one of course. And I do have concern for my fellow females, which is exactly why I went after him myself. I have always had an interest in catching him. That could explain some of my showing up on troll threads, which certainly aren’t the only ones I show up on. But that’s really not an issue here, now is it?

I left this post this afternoon in total disgust! I thought this was over! With all due respect Miss Ozzig, I don’t feel that anyone is pointing any fingers at you. I really believe that people are tired of this. TK has been after me since Sept. 25th. Ignoring him has not helped. I have had enough! This all needs to end!

Taking up action against these people proved fruitless, and ignoring them is hard to do, but advisable.

I don’t feel that whoever Stealthfighter is, has any issue with you or anyone else other than TK. He has angered folks, but they will not confront him because they don’t want to incur the wrath which I received. And, who could blame them! I do not regret defending myself, nor will I. My only regret is that I allowed myself to display my frustrations on this website and offend good members. Judge me if you will, however, it is I who walks in these shoes. I am now very clear about the goings on over the Mis-identity. I was gone yesterday & have already posted over at DharmaSpy about this very thing but am reading this after the fact. It appears he’s calling stealthfighter the hydra (swooping). I can see why he would think so. That’s who I thought stealthfigher was at first, too, due to the same type of behavior. I see nothing to indicate he means you though, so I wouldn’t worry about it (I doubt that you are).

I think this theory is a joke. But I’m new here and I don’t get it.
