This site was recommended to me by a friend (whose name, I can’t mention for fear of reprisals) as the best theory site on the internet. He also said there is an elite group of theorists that call themselves ‘CF’ , which I understand means ‘creators of fascination’. I was told that members of this group are considered the creme de la creme of Lost Theorists.
My question is how do I join CF? I have seen some posts labelled ‘CF’ but I wasn’t sure what they meant. I realise I have not done a lot on the site yet but I promise there is more to come! I haven’t had a lot of time lately due to my wifes ill health (she had a nasty fall, explain later) but when I do get cracking I think some of my idea’s will blow you all into next week give you your own personal flash- forwards!
So perhaps if one of the members (of CF) are reading this perhaps one of the members them will be kindly enough to explain to me how I might go about joining this exclusive club? (CF) I also have a few questions about CF, do you need to have posted a set number of theories to be eligible to apply for/be accepted into CF? Is it true that CF members have a secret way of identifying each other? And also my friend also said to me that ‘in CF they use real peanut butter?’ I have no idea what that means and when I questioned him further about it he just laughed and said ‘you will understand when the time comes’ . Hopefully some learned member will able to answer my queries. Thank you hearing my questions.

The first rule of CF is that you don’t talk about CF. The second rule of CF is if you’re not too far up your own you-know-what you can join in at any time. All you have to do is post when you see a CF thread.

John: I’ve never posted on the CF threads myself and I don’t know anything about peanut butter, but I did hear there was some sort of ritual that involved blood, so beware.

Ok, kidding. If you are truly serious, the CF I believe just means casual Friday, for anyone who wants to join in, for no particular reason or subject, jeans and T-shirt equivalent of LOST theories.
Now, how did you think they were going to get blood over the internet? Or peanut butter for that matter.
To the missus. you crack me up! Too funny…..CF, casual friday, is just a thread for people to talk to each other about anything they want, share music, say hi. It’s usually found in the ” not really a theory” section of the website.

AC he’s pulling your leg. There are no members, its just a chat thread. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him over there.
There’s enough room on the rahft for everyone.
The first rule of a CF, as I see it, is to have fun.
The second rule is to have fun.
Finally, the third and most important rule is to have fun.
Don’t segregate yourself by thinking there are a group of elitists.
It’s just a thread where we can hang out and shoot the sh!t.
