I’m a big DT fan, and i’ve read pretty much all the books associated with the DT and i cannot make that connection my friend. Sorry but Jack is not Roland.

It’s tempting to give your comment a +1, because I agree that the DT series is the primary influencer. I’m expecting that the ending to LOST will closely match the ending of DT. Certainly the idea of parallel worlds and timelines is taken straight from DT, and is the over riding theory of the show.

My husband is a big DT fan. I am too, though I’ve only made it to book 4 so far. He, however, ruined the ending for me recently when he said he thinks lost will end the way DT does….thus proceeding to spoil it for me. Anyway, from what he was saying, it could be the case. I think I might be bumbed if it is though. I’m already bumbed to know that’s how DT ends!

Mardock - Don’t let knowing the end of DT ruin the books…they are so good that I think any end would be a disapointment….I guess lost could still be very much like DT, and still have a different end - and we’d still be so sad for it to end!

Any one who likes lost would love DT
