This isn’t really a theory. It’s more of an interesting idea. I’m pretty sure they got the name Hugo from the philosopher Hugo Grotius who was a Dutch philosopher who was associated with the philosopher John Locke.
Also Grotius is the Latin translation for the name DeGroot. The DeGroots were the scientists who started the Dharma initiative.
This got me thinking about Hugo’s last name Reyes. I found out that it has meaning, too. I found out that it could be from Reyes Rendering. It is a computer software architecture used in 3D computer graphics to render photo-realistic images. It was first used in the early 80s to create fast high quality complex images.
Reyes is also an acronym for Renders Everything You Ever Saw.
I think this is very interesting. I would like to know your thoughts.
I posted this theory a while ago. I just wanted some new opinions.
Thanks
i think its is very interesting..especially the name of the philospher and connection with Degroots……REYES…….there could be an ending to tthat acronym….Renders Everything You Ever Saw……worthless….pointless…….confusing…….pick your own adjective…..
Dude I didn’t come up with the acronym. George Lucas did.
Nice find, temple1612! Interesting.
Temp. good find very interesting very interesting indeed…..
Cool. Also Grotius’ personal motto was: ‘Ruit hora’. (Time is running away.)
i understand your complaint now….Temple….my post wasn’t sarcastic..i was serious in those adjectives in relation to Hugo’s luck after winning the money…….it was pointless because the price of the curse……also the images are worthless becausze they are not real…..i should have explained better…..sorry you misinterpreted my post.
