This is my first post on here and Im sorry if someone has already said this. I would like to explain the future Jack,Kate, and so on.
I think that the losties were found and saved when Jack made that call. He is a pill popper and a lush now because he just didnt know how much his old life sucked. On the Island there was no traffic, no bills, and no daily grind. It was just survival. The funeral was none other than Ben’s. No one showed up except for Jack at the end. Remember when Jack beat him up, then said ” I want him to know we made it.” Thats why he was the only one. If it was any lostie some one would have surely made it. I also believe that it was Sawyer that Kate was referring to. Now that the future is out of the way, how about what really happens now. The losties will NOT be saved just yet. We know that there will be three more years, so how do you fill them. Because of Charlie’s quick goat thinking, he warned Desmond that it wasnt Penny’s boat. So now when Desmond gets back he will warn the others of the message. Now the losties have a big desicion to make. To trust these guy that are coming. To stick it out on the island for ever. Or to team up with the Others and kick some butt. The whole thing with Walt just blew my mind. I cant explain that. Him and Micheal were suppose to be gone. So I would believe just a message from Jacob. But Walt did look like he just showed up on set kickin some new gear ready to shoot. Let me know what you think. And once again sorry if this has already been posted.

Think the boat belongs to Penny’s father - remember he had the boat race aroud the world. he MUST be looking for the island and/or knows about their abilities or something. Dont think they’ll be saved just yet and think there will be a battle with new comers in the next season(s)
Where does Jack’s Dad still being alive when they make it back, fit in though? Unless he isn’t alive of course, there was a certain ambiguity about his statement about ‘getting my dad down here’. We will have to wait and see!
i think the boat belongs to the dharma project trying to get back on the island to finish off their experiments
I agree with marcus, I thought the ship might belong to the dharma as well and Ben killed them before so he really doesn’t want them coming back. I just don’t know when the dharma supply plane discovered that they are dropping supplies to thoses other than their own people. Maybe Micheal and Walt ran into them and when they found out they were mad and decided to come back or maybe someone off the supply plane decided to sneak around the island and look for progress and saw that there was nomore dharma on the island In the beginning the dharma people seemed like peace loving hippie types but from my experiance I know people who were like that and they grow up to be bitter money gribbing business minded jerks, so maybe they arent so peacefull anymore…?????
i dont think the flash forward is for when they got off this time. i think it might be in a distant future. and that it could be anybodies funeral.
