ok so i was thinking…
weve never seen mikhal with smoky and mikhal got killed throught the sonice fence and with the spear gun. and ossibly again with the grenade. so wouldnt only smoky have this capability to stay alive? he could also be jacob…but…in left behind we see that smoky cant go through the sonice fence. and mikhal had been pushed through by john. so that may mean part of my theory is disproved. but he could still be jacob. cus i think the flashbaks r happenin in real time and everyone has a copy off the island. although jacob. mikhal’s clone, got on the island. comment on this. maybe he cant die cus his clone is on the island? wen they get to the island their clone is created? are their clones for the people of dharma. i also think marvan candle’s clone is on the island but the original one is dead or vise versa. i thought i heard he was still alive on the island somewhere. maybe not haha.

Believe it or not, the idea of clones may not be that far off. When time and space can be altered you have, in essence, a clone of that specific individual caught in the altered time/space dimension.
Im not to into the whole clone theory myself but I can see where you are going with it, but I am almost certain Mikial is NOT the Monster. As for Candle, I would also like to know why he assumed the different name of Mark Wickmund, and why he appears in different clothes in each of the orientation films. And just a second ago I realised that perhaps the fact the ‘Candle’ and ‘Wick’mund might have some significance!
maybe mikhail is a tool of the island or maybe Jacob to kill the people that his “master” thinks unfit for the island. maybe he can’t die because he isn’t human.
or is he already dead??
