I think the future jack might have already appeared!
At the end of season 2 we see two scientists in a polar region who discover the electromagnetic wave that occurred on the island when the hatch explodes. It seems to me that one of the scientists has an uncanny resemblance to jack. Firstly all of you doubters, question why the producers would put an actor that looks so siimilar to jack in the series without a reason, there is no need to cast someone who looks so similar
At the end of season 3 it is obvious that jack is desperate to get back to the island to repair whatever has happened in this future we see in the flash forward. It is a possibility that later jack secretly recruits the help of penny desmond’s girlfriend since she is the only person with the knowledge and resources to find the island. This leads to another question, whats with the jack’s speaking portugese? Well if you follow my current train of thought you could argue that jack has adopted the guise of a foreign scientist in order to gain penny’s help and hide his true intentions from her? Also note that the scientists accent is a poor atempt at portugese.
What do you think??? I thought the similiarities between jack and the scientist was too similar to be coincidence.

okay im willing to believe this guy isnt Jack, and even if he does then it has no bearing on the show. The link to the pic of Alex Petrovitch doesnt work here is another one http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1763768/ he looks a little similar to Jack but not to much. Besides if it were meant to be Jack they would have used Matthew Fox to play him not a different actor so it cant be him. Sorry to put a downer on things but they just wouldnt, maybe this is a part of Lost that has been over analysed?!
