So who is Penny? Really?
I havn’t seen this anywhere else, but what do you make of this?

casting error probably
That is definitly a different girl… it kind of looks like the blonde girl from the looking glass. it could just be incontinuity though..
I Lost has taught us anything it is that those of it incharge are very very very meticulous about detail. There is NO WAY they would of missed that. Those pictures differ for a reason. I assure you of that.

wooooah. Thats crazy. But it is probably an error because when he first got the picture it looked like the first one and we obviously know what the real penny looks like, and the penny desmond knows.
Interesting. I also saw before that when the picture was taken during desmond’s flashback looked a little different then the picturture that we had seen before (the background was different and their positioning was a bit off too), but it was definitly the same woman. I wonder if there are multiple versions of the picture because Desmond/Penny are involved in this island mystery somehow and these pictures are part of the coverup to allow desmond to blend in better with the losties. Why else would penny have a direct communications link to the looking glass?
i think that maybe it was a casting thing. the original person they got to do penny wasn’t going to work out. BUT you never know!
tymles your right, as far as I’ve heard, its a casting issue. At that point of Lost, they had not casted an actress to be Penny, so they just used that picture, then when they casted her they updated the photo.
