Bring on the women!
I believe i posted this as a comment somewhere, but it do better as a theory…so juliet showed sun the room where the births took place and ultimatly the deaths of the mothers…but i think that perhaps they did not die, but were in fact spirited away to the LG…i mean, weve thus far only seen women there correct?

Damn straight, you’ve got something there.
So what about the babies?..Do you think they are still alive too?… and if so,.. why do you think Ben went through the trouble of recruiting Juliet to the island?.. assuming that the fertility issues of the island are a big hoax…and if what you are suggesting is that do in fact die, but just not the mother’s.. then what do you suppose Ben’s reason’s are for lying… Why do you think Ben is secretly hiding the mother’s of these dead babies?….
I’ll admit I have not too many thoughts on the babies, the theory need work… but what about this:
Perhaps the BABIES died, not the Mothers, and so that the experiments can continue, the mothers are taken to the LG and possibly off of the island all together?

Thinker.. I guess I’ve just come to assume that Ben has a sort of “obsession” w/ the whole fertility issues, so much so that even his followers have begun doubting him.. (ie.. Richard statements to Locke that Ben was wasting their time w/ fertility issues, and there were more important issues at hand, or similar).. So with this being said.. if this is infact Ben’s pet project.. it would seem more likely that Ben would be pushing for these mother’s to “try again ,until they got it right” before he he would send them into hiding at the LG, and lie to everyone about their deaths…. the latter scenerio just seems like it would go against everything that Ben is working towards…especially w/ his people already losing faith…
