I was checking out Lostpedia trying to get some info on the new hostiles rumored about season 4. Thats when I found this.
Under a spoilers section it mentioned that it has been reported to Life& Style Magazine that Dom (charlie) has been told he will not be returning for season 4. I guess it kinda makes sense….I mean it would add alot of drama sense charlie would be the first reallly beloved lost memeber to die (im sorry but Boone and Shannon were not beloved to most). Plus from a writing standpoint, there isnt a whole lot more you can do with Charlies character really. He kicked the drugs and now he is at peice. Yeah you got the whole claire relationship and playin daddy to baby aaron but how far will that take you? I guess they could have him find another stash of herione and start using again but that would just be stupid and boring. So is this season goodbye for Charlie? I think so. Anyone?
i’m still unsure with this storyline, i think if he’s going to die it will be at the finale of season 3 but at same time, i dont think he is going to. and even if he does its going to be one hell of a storyline because u know its going to involved claire and aaron. it’s gotta be something big and in end he’ll have to die doing something heroic. exciting stuff. cant wait
well then kat, if half of that is true…good ole charlie boy is dead. And his death will help make the finale big. Man that sucks….could be bad for the show too. Could make alot of people quit watching.

First of all, les, great LoTR reference. I would definitely miss Charlie if they killed him off, but in my opinion he would be the second beloved character to die. I don’t know about the rest of you, but my favorite character was a big, bad African who spoke softly and carried a big stick.
HAHA nate…my bad bro. I totally had forgotten about Eko. I was talking with my buddy about charlie being the first really beloved to die and my buddy immediately said what u just did. And I said, no because Eko wasnt there from the begininng. My pal was like, yeah he was…just on the other side of the island, lol. I did love Eko. And great LOTR ref indeed. And kat, no I would not quit watching. And you are right, if done right we will be ready to move on to bigger and better! Still sad though…..kicks herione and then dies. Cruel Fate.

I have to agree with lostboy about Dear ole’ Charlie. There just isnt much in left in the cards for him. Shame, he will be missed. I also agree with Katrina about the ending..These writers better have something good in their nasty little pocketses
