in 23rd psalm, Eko asked Claire why she named her baby Aaron and she said she just liked it…..
Eko told Claire that Aaron was the brother of Moses. Claire said that being Moses’s brother must have been hard to live up to. Eko then told Claire that Aaron was a great man.. because moses had difficulty speaking so it was aaron who spoke for him……
Jacob is a great man according to the others and he does have someone speak for him -

A leader is not a follower, so he is not one of those that follow him. I think your theory might just be an over-interpretation, but at the same time it seems at least plausible, better than most theories at least.
