Ben tried to kill Locke…or was he trying to give him faith?
Also….Why did Locke tell Ben…”this isn’t what you are supposed to do”
We are assumming Ben really is good.. Did he really want locke dead? If he did one of them is good, one bad, Choose…… SO FAR…..Ben lies to everyone….. Jack may choose to believe the Penny message and Des…. That could be the mistake…..we really didh’t see who disabled Naomi…Right…So….Is Ben Power hungry???

I think Ben is a moron who thinks he is in control while in fact he is controlled by Richard. He is blind and has no special abilities like Lock. That’s why he was so curious about what Jacob said to Lock. He never really heard Jacob and he is not in touch with the island in the same way Lock is.
This doesn’t mean he is bad. I think his part was just to keep the island safe at all costs until a messiah (probably Lock) arrives. When the messiah arrived he would be the one to test it.
As for Lock I don’t know but I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns into a evil “messiah” without even knowing it.
Don’t know man. Let’s wait and see it’s not as fun but it’s easier :)
