LOST-Theories.com

hey all everybody:

While doing unrelated research, dreaming about LOST, and I hope this hasn’t been hashed out already, I came across a reference to MU. A lost civilization in the pacific. On the Map I saw the center of Mu was approximately half way between austrailia and the West Coast of the US, and now considered to only be open sea. There were works by James Churchward that discussed the evolution of the people on the island. Perhaps most notably, the original Lemurians, did not have physical form, ie smokey, and communicated telepathically with a third eye. I am providing a link to what a site on the symbology of the culture, check it out, http://www.sacred-texts.com/atl/ssm/ssm07.htm I think the writers have a lemurian surprise for us in mind. Perhaps the orginal inhabitants were Lemurian. Also, Lemurians had powers over physical objects, ie the experiments Dharma was performing on the island. I don’t know how it will all play out, but I bet we will see a connection before its all over.

A lot of people think the island is Mu or Atlantis. They use the pic of an island in a bubble in Walt/Hugo’s comic book as proof.

The Mu thing might explain Smokey and the four-toed sandal foot, but I wouldn’t like it very much. It does go against the writers’ whole promise of having everything be scientifically explainable, since Mu and Atlantis are both mythical locations.

I may have to also buy that book sounds interesting and the location sounds spot on, Didn’t I read some where that the myth contradicts itself as it is said the Lemurians had control of weather and time and yet there island was sunk by a giant tidal wave. Hey what do I know this sounds interesting none the less +1

The Mu/Atlantis angle is most definately an interesting one. The most compelling part of these types of theories, is how well the cloaking of the island would fit into it. Everyone assumes them to be mythical locations and maybe that is why no one can find this island.

I have read about Mu and I do believe the writers are tapping into certain aspects of this in “Lost”. Nice post! +1
