There is something that I have been wondering and thinking about concerning Penny, and since I am in a theory writing mood, I would throw this one out there.

Penny has been related to the island twice now. The first time was at the end of season two, and the second time was at the end of season three. The first time Penny was looking for the island aparently. Is she looking for Desmond, I know not, but she definitely seems to be looking for the island. The second time we see her concerning the island, she knows how to contact it, and seems surprised to hear that Desmond is there. But she seems to know where the island is…almost nonchallantly…no big deal to hear from the island. These are very different. One Penny is looking for the island, and the other knows where it is and can contact it. I think maybe this is evidence of parallel Pennys. Along with that, I think the first Penny sent people to the island (the ones that Jack called), and the second Penny knows where the island is and did not send the boat. Also, an after thought concerning Des, Penny, and their picture. When the picture was taken, there was only one copy, and Des takes it and we have seen it with him. Where have all the other copies come from? Parallel pictures maybe? Hmmm…
