First off, i want to start by saying that I don’t like the dream theory, and as much as I feel like it has some weight (unless it has been debunked) i don’t really by into it. However with that being said…

After rewatching “Dave”, the episode where Hurley see’s his “imaginary” friend from the mental hospital, I started really think about what Dave was saying, about all this being Hurley’s dream. He was pretty convincing.

I mean Hurley was in a mental institution, and did make up an imaginary friend. Then he went on to win the lotto, have some crazy things happen, survive a plane crash, fall in love, lose his love, became important enough to make the “others” list, only to be sent back to camp, and then later saev Sayid, Jin, and Bernie on the beach.

Plus all the characters have really interesting, somewhat crazy and unbelieveable stories, that one could dream stuff like this.

Hurley also has the most Lost connections, and given his personality and how it hasn’t really waviered at all with everything that has happened to him to him.

Anyhow this isn’t so much a Theory, but just curious, as much as a dream sequence would suck for this show, has it offically been debunked?

Yes, this theory has been debunked! The writers have stated that what is happening on “the island”, is REAL and that it is actually happening somewhere in the space time continuum.

ok cool, I just wanted to double check, and I knew they said it was real, and in the space time continum, i just wanted to make sure that Hurley believing it was real, didn’t count…if taht makees sense
